Wait holy hell, I just realized something. Despite Asgore having a hunch that he might die fighting Frisk (Neutral Run), the current run is a True Pacifist Run. Mainly due to Sans’s statement about Frisk being a pacifist and should have passed the Core, but they are taking longer than both Sans and Asgore expected (Which mean they are busy backtracking and helping Alphys and Undyne with their date) Not sure if anyone else caught that detail but that is neat
Oh my god this makes so much sense this explains, where sans hidden the Gaster blasters. Because remember papyrus is bones are physical objects in his room that he has to prepare as attacks, so Where was sans hiding his attacks? At the top of the judgment room that makes sense
Damn. Asgore having that odd Deja Vu over his own death. Telling sans that he can keep the cup. Because he won't be able to find it when he dies. Asgore already has a feeling that he's gone.
so if asgore is getting memories of his own death, and frisk is supposedly “taking too long,” then this comic is most likely taking place while the true lab arc is going on, if not anything else, correct?
@@shmasonwhatever3756 if I remember correctly, there is some dialogue with undyne that reveals that asgore used to dodge her attacks during her trainings, meaning that he is capable of dodging. However, when we fight him, he chooses not to. There is some speculation about asgore wanting to be defeated on purpose, so it may not be all "deja vu" what we are seeing here. As for the true Lab stuff, it's likely.
I've always liked this comic because it uses a relationship that isn't explored very often (definitely not because it's my two favorite characters). Between Sans's position as Judge making him one of the most important people in the Underground (outside of the normal hierarchy) and the role likely being intended to stop extreme threats from reaching the King, Asgore knowing everyone means the two would likely be quite familiar.
Great voices on this one! Fit well within the story. I also noticed the choice of font the comic maker used for Asgore. It made the dialogue more comfortable to read.

Or they just discovered the True Lab and exploring it and after they're done, they will be helping Alphys with her date
@alexfox3325you can’t enter the true lab before the alphys “date” and confession to undyne
@@miniwhiffy3465 oh, sorry my bad then

He has attacks that stay physical yes but like all monsters he needs to conjure them up first out of magic.

What wonderful comic and dub. Always like it when Asgore and Sans are depicted as friends. Great work to everyone.
