I just want to thank those who thumbs down amazing videos...it has given me confidence to put myself out there more and more knowing no matter how excellent and unselfishly and thoughtfully a video is produced...no matter how kind and generous a person is...no matter how much good a person is putting out to the universe...for some unknown reason, there will always be those who choose to try to stop goodness and excellence. It's great to know that negativity just is...and doesent matter a hoot as long as you are doing your thing! Von...you are so amazing!

Just a tip.... I take a very small drill bit and drill holes in the top of the spools. I personally try to put 4 in, spaced evenly. Then when I cut my wire, I take the end up through the closest hole and bend it over. It will hold just fine. It doesn't take much pressure to bend, so you're not ruining then ends of your wire. Hope this helps to make life easier for everyone.😊😊

Am I weird for finding it very amusing that every time you say "flush cutters" I hear "flesh cutters"? Anyway, I'm gonna need to do this some day, but I say that about so many things, and then I somehow never get around to do them ever. Maybe I'll get the craftalong-kit. That could be a motivation.

Hi Yvonne...you've come along way since I started watching you last winter...that makes two of us...I'm now soldering with a torch...I made my first ring a few weeks ago...and my 2nd, 3rd, 4th and I'm working on my 5th...they are a little bit on the crude side...very earthy...lol...but I kind of like it...I just wanted you to know I've learned a lot from you...you should be proud of yourself for helping others to learn to wire wrap and in my case...I'm okay at wire wrapping...I don't seem to like practicing it as much as I like to practice soldering...lol...I guess I like the fire...it's extra fun...lol...wire wrappings fun too...thanks to people like you that make these videos to give away their personal skills to teach others is just awesome...
I'm sure a few extra perks you get for free from bead and wire companies is awesome too...how did you get them to give you beads and wire??? I could use some help with supplies also...I find it's hard to learn if you can't afford the materials to make what ever it is your making...or trying to learn to make...lol..
Anyway enough rambling I just wanted to let you know that your appreciated... Thanks Again ....

I diverged to strictly working with Copper. my first few pieces earned me a commission and I was off and running. I am still using Parawire and prefer their packaging and my wire storing method built around their spools. I never thought I could do a herringbone around anything but a bead... Again you have opened my horizons.

Thank you Yvonne this is such a useful demo for working with flat back cabs. Love the kitten contribution! Here's a tip from me; I use cable ties to keep my wire in check on the spool, about 8mm wide. Just wrap and fix it round the spool and thread the wire end through the opening behind the cable tie join. Don't pull the tie fully tight, as this helps to enable the tie to be moved along the spool as the wire wraps ascend or descend. Thank you so much for all you share with us.

You are so talented! I’m learning a lot from you! Your voice is so soft sometimes I have a hard time hearing you...but maybe it’s me, I’m hard of hearing in one ear. I’ll be watching more! Thanks so much....

You keep the mood of your videos peaceful and make them easy to understand and watch. I've watched you off and on for awhile now and thoroughly enjoy the videos. I've made the helix earrings abs have had to back off for a bit but an trying to get back in. I've even stated making my own boxes for jewelry for sales and display.

OMG! One of my cats can't get enough of my workstation and always wants something. Wire, beads, canisters, cord, you name it! I gave her a canister with beads to roll around and also coiled some wire for her to bat at.
