Catching Catfish in Idaho | Snake River Fishing | Tri Nguyen

We went to Idaho to catch some catfishes over the weekend; unfortunately, the event was not well-planned. Our buddy were unable to locate the fishing spot that he went last time, so we ended up trying at some random location near our camp site. The first spot that we attempted were the McCormick Campground, boat launch area. We were able to catch a few small catfishes just about enough for dinner before we get to our camp site.
We were staying at the Woodhead Park Campground, and we got a great RV spot by the water (B11). It has a beautiful and importantly the water is next to our camp site. We can setup our fishing rods, leave it there with a bell on, then simply wait for the bell ring. Overall, I think that fishing has never been easier :)

Hello everyone! Thanks for watching. It was a long drive to catch some catfish; however, we weren't able to catch as many as we have expected. It was definitely fun, and we would love to try again. Anyone know a better location to fish for catfish on the Snake River? Thanks

Hi Huy, we used night crawlers for bait, but generally, these bottom fishes eat pretty much everything. Probably, the next time we go out, we'll use boneless chicken as bait. It seems like lots of people used it successfully on TH-cam and cheaper compare to night crawlers. I have my email listed in the About section, let connect and go fishing sometime. I think the next couple week, we'll focus on catching American Shad at the Bonneville Dạm.
