hey hey, sis! I got two questions for you today! 👀 1) what do we think about this (potential) new series breaking down Bible stories?! ANDDD 2) If you want to continue (!!!) what story should we tackle next?! I'm thinking for the next one - the story of King David and Bathsheba or Ruth and Naomi!
I enjoy all your videos (Going to older ones). Your voice is so soothing and this helps with my current Bible studies, especially certain text I don't always understand. So thank you for what you do. Thank God for your gift to share with others. Looking forward to future videos! Peace and blessings! ❤😊
I’ve been reading the story of Jesus and I love how he loved everyone, even the ones that was sinners, he was eating with them. It’s so refreshing to know that Jesus doesn’t judge us for our past when we come to him! 🤍 love your channel!
Timely 😭I was approached this week to serve the Lord but I was hesitant that am not "clean enough"to lead people to worship, now I know Jesus can use me I don't have to wash myself first 🙏 God bless you
I just want to say you have truly touched my heart and I am glad I came across your channel. I'm 24 and lately ive been going through it and trying to figure out where I belong and getting my faith stronger and you have just been amazing! I would love to know what church you are a part of and thank you for your videos!
One take away from this story is when you mentioned how she was "open to the conversation" with Jesus. I used to be so closed off and just had this brickwall towards people who tried to engage in conversation with me. This was of course because of circumstances that have led to me to be that kind of person. However, after God healed and softened my heart and realising that even conversing with the next person could change my life because God uses us like he used the Samaritan woman, I'm now enjoying and experiencing my days with a new sense of adventure and expectancy! Like God pleeease bring someone across my path that I can share the good news with and someone who can share the good news with me! Thanks Melody, this has been awesome ❣
Fulfilment comes from Jesus Christ alone. Thanks for this Bible Study and the breakdown of this word. The truth is that as human beings, we are naturally always seeking external sources to fill us and yet when we obtain certain things, we want more. It's best to dwell in Christ. Thanks again.
I loved it keep it going. Yes, we often think we must clean ourselves up to approach the throne room, when in fact Jesus died for us because we can never be cleansed on our own.
I vote a definite YES to this series. I have been looking for ways to dive into the bible in a fun relatable safe space free of judgment from lack of knowledge and this is IT!!! I'm thankful that the Lord dropped this on your heart! I truly liked that the passage for this storytime wasn't too long! Starting out small is great because longer passages tend to be overwhelming at times. I am definitely looking forward to whatever the next storytime will be!
This is such a wonderful series and method to reach the hearts of people that find it difficult to decipher or break down messages behind an encounter someone had with the Lord or a message He is trying to convey. Personally, this touched me, as I had fallen into sexual immorality and at one point felt that I was trapped in this place, too far gone for Him to love and use me. But He saved me from where I had been, showing me that He never once forgot, abandoned, or gave up on me. Remember, loves, He is the SAME and FAITHFUL whether we are or not, no matter where we’ve been, with who, or what we’ve done. If you are called and chosen, there is nothing that can separate you from His love or keep Him from finishing the good work He has started in you. Keep praying, keep seeking, keep praising; He will bring you out, lift you up, and give us the strength to press forward. God bless you all 🥰🙏🏻 and thank you Melody!!!
Amazing video! I'm actually in a secular show/ movie fast and I just appreciate that I have you to watch/listen to. God really is using you for greater things. God bless you! Also, I love the series since it's like mini Bible studies and helps better understand certain Bible studies.
You should always obey God. I really really really appreciate this video I saw a whole new light on it that applies to my situation and what believe to be true in Christ Jesus. Thank you
This is so good! I have heard this story and read it many times and while I knew the woman’s status in society it’s hitting me hard right now that she was the least of these in her community and in her culture. Gender wise. All the things. And Jesus said she would be the first to know who he is. Everyone has waited his arrival, and he went to a meek woman who everyone in the community would feel self righteous to be around. Her internal worth must have flipped on his head to be so honored to be the first to know (outside of his mother and Joseph) who he is. Again… so good
I love the new series. I am looking forward to more. A piece of advice is not to state absolute terms when we are unsure or not clearly stated, even if it seems like that is mostly the situation. For example, you said that the reason she went for water alone was that she felt ashamed. Instead, you could say, I believe the reason she....theologians said the reason....the main reason could be.....I think she felt embarrassed, etc So, we try not to use absolute terms when it is not clearly stated in the Bible or through Greek or Hebrew translations.
I really like the series! Yes, keep the stores coming! I’m thinking Esther’s story would be a good one. Of course, Joseph and Daniel’s stories are amazing, but Esther popped into my mind as I started typing this so I say tell her story first ❤
Hello sister Melody🙋.I love your videos. I love your transparency. Please keep doing what you doing, the breakdown on bible stories is so interesting.I would love for you to one day breakdown the bible story of the woman who uses her last oil n flour to make a meal for the prophet Elijah.Ppl need to understand that wen we give it's not for the other person but it's for us. So being selfish to somebody else is like being selfish to yourself.Thank u Jesus🙌
Message right on time ! I can be judge-y even knowing Jesus can use anyone. I woke up listening to John through the streetlights app and got to her story. You were double confirmation and a reminder. ❤ great video and series.
Yes please keep the series going. Would love to discuss other stories in the Bible in the same format. I love the story of the Shunamite woman in the book of Kings. It’s loaded with lessons from multiple viewpoints and would love to hear your perspective.
God bless you in this endeavour to bring the good news of Jesus Christ in everyday speak to the masses. We as believers each have a part to play in God’s Kingdom, no part too small or too large. You have found a niche that I just happened on while surfing TH-cam and so richly blessed. I rejoice in your spark for Jesus, keep it up, may the Lord continue to bless you and inspire your heart for your next quest in His name!
I love this series concept! As someone who didn’t grow up in the church and is making my way through the Bible, it is nice to have a discussion on the stories 💗
Loved this video💕 so beautifully articulated, and yes please turn this into a series💃🏾 - I would love to hear the stories of Mary Magdalene and Mary, the mother of Jesus🤍
Yes! Please do more of these. I really enjoyed it. Doing your hair while you talk would also be an interesting take on the series. You have beautiful hair, so I’d love to see your technique and how you style it.
sister, i’m so very grateful for your life and your channel. i know you have your own battles and struggles in your life but your joy and love for the Lord’s word is so calming and encouraging to me. i actually closed my eyes and listened to this video while feeling a little overwhelmed and you helped me release and focus on the message for a couple minutes and let me tell you i felt peace. God has been working on me as of late to trust and to be grateful but sometimes it’s hard when the world, situations, feelings and so much more tries to drag me down. it’s in moments like these when i can feel the connection with a fellow sister in Christ through even just her voice in a video that i realize how this world is just a physical vector for all the spiritual things that happen under the surface. this isn’t the first time you’ve helped me by being a spokesperson for God when i felt overwhelmed. may God bless you continually and may you grow in the power of the Spirit 🙏🏼 in Jesus name, amen!
Love this break down it gave modern bible study vibes and blessed me because I was out here sinning and searching for why I’m shown much favor and kept and it’s because HE LOVES ME !!!!!!!! And all I can do is submit to his word and praise him for his mercy and favor and LOVE !
Love this serious especially because I listen to you when getting ready for the day ❤ I love this story too, so many of my loved ones think they are too far gone to find Jesus but he’d love them too!
So I know this channel is for woman but I came across this video and this is one of my favorite stories in the Bible and had to listen , thank you for your insight and may God continue to Bless you
I could listen to you for hours. The way you dissect the word of God and your voice just truly makes me have more zeal to have a deep relationship with the lord. I’m trying to have an encounter like the Samaritan woman ! But it’s not just working! God help me
Definitely helps those with troubles getting into reading...before reading for tbemselves... Also you said that if she said "we don't speak to Jews" that wouldn't have happened. Before that though...if she hadn't been turnt away by her own "people" she wouldn't have been there at that time. She might not have been willing to speak whether she was with a group or not...had she not felt alone. She went through what she had for her to end up in the perfect spot at the exact moment that her sadness was turnt to joy. Her sadness opened her up to the truth of the Messiah. Her loneliness in spirit saved people who would forever be thankful of her existence
Please continue this series. I would love to hear the Ruth story since its been on my mind lately. When people bring the stories of the bible to life like this, it always encourages me to get back in my bible.
Yes make this a series!! I love how it felt like a friend just telling me a cool story she heard about. It made the story more relatable. I think it would be cool to like focus on all the stories including women in the Bible, Ruth, Mary and Martha, Rahab, Esther, etc.
Thank you. I almost cried mostly because I’m a cry baby, but this encouragement is so helpful and relatable. It makes me feel not so crazy, but human. And seen. I thank God for what he’s doing for you and through you and I pray that he continues to give you strength and wisdom. This is such an anointed idea. Made me wanna go read. Love you my sister in Christ. ✨
Loved, loved, loved this new concept. I am willing to hear any story from God's Word. You are so well spoken and engaging. It is obvious that what you are doing is fulfilling a calling by God. God bless!!!
Yes please continue to do these story times. I really loved the fact that you gave us the book, chapter and verse before telling the story so we could familiarize ourselves with it. Thank you. I would love to hear the story of Jonah in the Whale.🙏🏽
Yes, Please continue this story. I believe we all need this. It will encourage us to study and read the Word for ourselves. Ruth and Naomi story is good. I think you should also do Joseph story and the Woman with the issue of blood. Thank you for letting God use you. He is proud. 😇
Hey, Melisa....I found your channel yesterday and I love how passionate of a Christian you are.. You inspire me to wanna increase my faith in the LORD JESUS. and be a better person..I am definitely a new subscriber..continue with the good work girl and may God bless you to continue to inspire us out here everyday... THANK YOU.
Hello Alisa. This is my favorite story in the Bible and I am happy that you shared it.A story that should be tackled...Story about the wisdom of Daniel🤗.May the HOLY SPIRIT guide you as you continue teaching the word

Hi sis! Thank you for honouring God's calling in your life... keep being obedient ,you're changing lives out here, giving us hope and faith to look upon God for everything. I love the idea... continue interpreting the Bible this way...and I also loved watching you do your makeup( you're beautiful with or without it)... I love you sis😍
I loved this video so much! Also another cool video would be one talking about Hannah and when we feel like we’re going through a season of barrenness.
You are so beautiful my sister with and without makeup ❤ Definitely continue what God has been directing you to do. I would love to hear the story of Ruth in this fashion.
I was hoping it was going to be the woman at the well when you said you were going to tell some of the Bible stories in a new way. I love that story so much, because of the reasons you pointed out. Honestly, I love the idea of telling the Bible in story form! I am excited to see which ones you do next :)
I love this!! 🤍 I appreciate how you break down the scriptures in detail. And the delivery was fun! I would be interested to hear about the woman who bled for 12 years or Mary the mother of Jesus -> How her story began Lol or even a story in Genesis! The drama! 😄
I love the video concept great biblical insight and context and love the makeup perfect for me to watch instead of netflix or anything while eating or pumping or spending time nursing. Love it. God knew what he was doing, Praise the lord 🎉
This is an interesting series, i was studying the women in the genealogy of christ lately (mentioned in mathew 1) its really interesting to hear how God is interested in broken people, He is using broken people for His glory
Hey girlie!! 1) Love the potential new series, feels like an intimate Bible study. 2) I don’t have a specific story in mind, but I am interested in learning more about both Job and Mary Magdalene. You are doing such a wonderful job allowing God to use and speak through you. May God continue to Bless you. ❤
Absolutely loved this Melody♡ please keep them coming. Wow, this was so much more tangible to understand and keep in my heart somewhere. On suggestions, I'd please like it if you could do a Bible storytime on Queen Esther.
hey hey, sis! I got two questions for you today! 👀 1) what do we think about this (potential) new series breaking down Bible stories?! ANDDD 2) If you want to continue (!!!) what story should we tackle next?!

Keep the series. It’s Relatable. It makes The Bible a human experience that people can relate to.
I enjoy all your videos (Going to older ones). Your voice is so soothing and this helps with my current Bible studies, especially certain text I don't always understand. So thank you for what you do. Thank God for your gift to share with others. Looking forward to future videos! Peace and blessings! ❤😊
Yes, yes, and yes to this new series!! & I wouldn’t mind talking about the story of Martha and Mary or Ruth.

I'm absolutely loving this series! It really puts things into perspective 👌🏽🔥
Love this story time and the way you broke it down.
