My unit was factory installed under the captain’s chair. The water intake pump was between the motor and the fresh and black water tanks. A factory mounted piece of plywood held the pump in place. It is essential the pump be below the waterline. If I were installing one, I would not install it this way. Most all other cabin cruisers place the unit inside the cabin. This prevents getting return air from the exterior or more importantly the engine room. My 310 sea ray had the unit inside the cabin under the bed. I think I would install it this way. It is mounted. I moved up to a 33 ft Sea Ray and have loved it.
I have the same boat but a 2002, where did you install the air conditioner unit, and where is the water intake at?
