I love this technique! I have all 3 sets of those water color markers and I have not figured out what to do with them. If you have more ideas for using them, please share. Thanks

not quite sure I understand. You mean they are beading up before you spritz with water? It could be the plastic. It should really effect the out come tho.
I use Francheville 300gsm cardstock. This isn't a water colour paper but holds up really well with water. Absolutely could your water colour cardstock as well! :)

I thought the same as you, the darker embossed card went better with the card base. The other was pretty too, but not with the base you had.
