Hey Bud, first off, Thanks for all the install videos. Great job. Mostly short and to the point. I have been having a time with my rear view mirror on 2022 polaris 1000 non-XP. Mine has factory roof so in the rear it come's down approx. 6 inches. I bought a mirror that mounts just like your's in video. Well after installing and adjusting, all you can see in the tailgate and if someone is 5'-0" off your ass. I then fabricated a bracket exact shape as provided with mirror but made it 3 1/2 inches longer to drop mirror. Works perfect, now I can see 100 yards behind me. Well, after riding one time with new drop bracket, the mirror vibrated so much it was really unusable. So I went back and fabricated another bracket to add that sort of spring's back to the cage to add stability. I'm all go to go now. I used 1/8" aluminum 5052. Easy to cut, drill and bend. I also installed a small battery LED courtesy light that has white or green toggle. Could'nt see myself using a pulse plug for just a dome light. I only have one pulse plug open out of 6 as it is.
If I could offer one suggestion when you post links in your description, put a block of text prior to the link so we know what the link actually goes to.
I had a mirror but with the plastic rear window it wasn’t much good so I mounted a rear facing cam on the back corner of the cab roof with the monitor where the mirror was. It works great.
@@UTVDIRT at first it didn’t work good until I put a small sunshade over it. Some guys laughed at me and now I think one brand puts them in from the factory. Mine was easy to install as I just came off my wiper motor lead with a small fuse for the camera.
My 2018 Ranger XP 1000 had a opening you could feed the wire through the roll bar. They must of changed it. I would do it the same way I did 570 sp Ranger.
@@UTVDIRT yes mine does too. I was talking about getting it to the power bar from the opening. Looks like I can reach behind the instrument cluster and pull it through?
Put the same mirror in the exact same machine. Have it wired to a small 8 gang fuse panel mounted under the hood that is relayed off hot power and turns on with the key in the pulse plug.
@@UTVDIRT Oh ok. Thank you. I’ll use the link you provided. I guess it’ll be good to keep some of those on hand. I’m new to all this. Just bought a 23 570 ranger. Thank you for your vids.
Nice mirror. I have the standard mirror that came with my Northstar but that mirror would be a great upgrade
Yeah I thought it was cool and was different. Serves two purposes Mirror and light. Thanks for watching!
I traded my pro xp in for a pro R and I installed this mirror a couple weeks ago. It’s a really nice mirror and I love the light.
Yeah it's a nice mirror and can be basically used on any SXS. Thanks for watching!

Nice! I thought about putting a rearview camera in the back. Maybe in the future. Thanks for watching!

@@Chris_at_Home Cool thanks for the info! I might try it.
Another great video. Just wondering how the mirror is holding up and your thoughts of the product
Thanks! It is holding up great no issues so far.
Any tips on getting the wire from the roll bar into the front compartment? The 1000xp is all closed off.

@@timothypratt2014 Yes just pull it through. It should fit between the roll bar and dash. That's how I did my 2018.
How is the mirror when using the machine is it nice and sturdy or does it vibrate and hard to see out of?...thanks!
It does vibrate but I can still see out of it. The light is nice and bright.
It’s always good to have a mirror, helps to outrun the game warden
Yes sir! Lol

Nice! I really like the Mirror. Thanks for watching!
Doesn’t it come “with” the plug for the bus bar…..?
No it does not. I had one laying around and used it.
