Just made this, so delicious!! Chowed down the whole thing in two minutes. I used Ahi Tuna and Cod together. Recommend following Chef John's recipe and just using cod. The ahi tuna came out too meaty while the cod was flaky and tender. And don't forget the cayenne, it gives it just the right kick:)

Tried this recipe a couple of times. Awesome. Tried it today but substituted the fillets with smoked cod fillets. Let's just say that it introduced an extra level of awesome +.

When I was in Alaska I had this amazing corn chowder that was broth based rather than cream based and there was wild salmon in it, it was incredible! Fish in soup isn't as weird as people think.

No, microwave works only with things which have water in them, it uses the polarity of water and makes the molecules spin very vast, thus heating things up.
But you could put a little water in your bowl and dry it afterwards.

Last night it was cold and rainy here in SoCal, perfect night for a heartwarming stew. This was simple and very tasty, a big hit with the family. I've been reluctant to use fennel, not a big fan of the licorice flavor. But I have to say that the fennel is THE ingredient that makes the broth amazing. Totally worth the effort! Thanks for another great meal Chef John.

I made this tonight, it was amazing, my wife loved the fish stew. Recently turned vegetarian so always on the look for new recipes.
I recommend this fish stew, absolutely Delicious. I thought I added too much white wine, but once wine reduced, the other ingredients finally came through, then added the cream and fish, the flavours really soared. A dash of pink salt, and some yummy wholemeal bread rolls lightly toasted with melted butter. I can't thank you enough Chef John...this dish was Stunning.
