Yes. Food is very nice and cheap.
It used to be called with a different name. I went once to this restaurant thirty years ago. They would serve two side dish then rotis. They would start with two rotis; once you finish them, they serve three; and it would go on until you say stop. After that you get rice with dal, rasam and curd. All unlimited for Rs.15.00 (yes, Fifteen rupees only)....
In Baroda there was an excellent Gujarathi resturant called Sathkar .Atypical guj meals . Everything. Unlimited including sweets served at₹30 in 1979.Can someone clarify still that resturant exists

Previously it was called 'Gujrathi Bhojanalaya' now ownership changed I think sabji, chapathi mango pickle, curd etc. Especially their spl item is Kaju katli, after couple of years went to buy kaju katli waste. They have to improve more

Very balanced food. By the way, the Gujarati name for the salad you ate is "sambhar". Secondly, shrikhand and basundi are of Maharashtra origin

Gujarati food is a no go for Diabetics. They have ds habit of adding sugar or jaggery in their food, and I do not know why. Maybe sugar content helps to keep d food from going stale.
Gujarati, Marathi and Bengali food is not complete without sweet and gurd😢. Here we have to pay extra. 😢😢
