I think when he pounced the tenonto and fell off, he was so slow to get up due to a stamina knockdown. Pouncing takes a lot of stam, and in Evrima when you run out of stam you're forced down regardless of situation.

Tips for pouncing
1. Don’t press space when pouncing
2. Hold right click. Don’t just press it
3. Mind your stamina (very important) if you use all your stam your vulnerable
4. When getting off what you pounced you’ll want to look in the direction you want to get off

I just bought the game today after getting invested last night watching this and knew I had to, took me a few attempts but I finally found a crew and now I’m fully grown, thanks for relieving my boredom.
Been 4 months since an isle gameplay, I really do want this game, I remember when he fought those t-rexs as a Utah with other Utah’s
I'd like to get it too but it's not for console, which is a shame. Good simulators are never for console. I suppose it's because they wouldn't be able to run them too well. 😩
One day I hope to get a decent PC so I can play this, and other games that are only for PC.

Beaver, the trick is to wear the tenonto down first before pouncing. If they're out of stam, they can't throw you off.

Beavers, the pounce eats up your stam super quick. when it's gone, u fall off so u need to let go before u run out of stam and it's smart to have som estam left so u can run too

The recovery time is intentional, you need to hop off before your stam runs out completely or you'll collapse and be vulnerable to attack, lol. It's a nice opportunity for tens to get blows in but it is avoidable I think.

Tip: When you pounce onto somethig and you claw it, you will continue to lose stamina very quickly. So, what hapened is that when you pounced you lost so much stamina that you fell off, and I think needed stam to get back up. Not sure. But amazing video, allways love to watch em!
What happened when you got killed was, that you didnt let go soon enough. Once you loose all stamina you flop over like that and its most likely gg. Always keep some stam to book it. Otherwise you did really well with this Utah. Especially the one on one with the bigger Utah. Very nice video :)
