I thought it was a very good series. Was for sure that they would not have killed off Michonne or Rick. Although I still had tissues next to me. Which I used out of Joy instead. I thought it was rushed. Because it didn't show what happened when they caught up with Rick and Michonne from their escape. I was trying to figure out how they were going to bring down the CRM. All that was amazing. How they came up with that idea to destroy the CRM. I just knew they were not going to kill either of them. As the title said Those Who Live. They would not have let the CRM continue. How they got all the supplies to destroy them was amazing. and I didn't think I would have needed tissues but boy I did at the end of the episode. And I got what I always wanted. For Rick to meet his son and see his daughter again. I always thought the best episode was 4. The acting was phenomenal. His acting that he did when he found out he had a son was priceless. Now we have to move on to Carol and Daryl. Carol turned into to such a great character. And I will never forget her face when she sees her daughter coming out of that Barn. Thank you for all the information you gave us and probably see you all soon. God bless all 💖🙏💖
Disappointing…the echelon briefing was literally nothing. I was hoping to at least find out something we didn’t already know. The dialogue was terrible with the cheesy cringiness….like after episode 4, to come see episode 6…way different caliber (lower). Lots and lots of wasted potential with Beale and Thorn. Rick couldn’t escape the CRM and was so scared of them, yet he and Michonne destroy everything in a few hours…right. I’d rather they escaped and left the CRM open as a huge villain for potential future seasons.
Yeah I felt the same about the dialogue, I didn't really wanna mention it in the review because I felt like I was already getting a bit too negative but to me the dialogue in episodes 5 and 6 were incredibly more cheesy and unnatural than what the first 4, episode 4 in particular was filled with some of the most intense, real moments between Rick and Michonne in the entire franchise and the dialogue complimented that so well, while I liked the overall Rick/ Michonne moments in episode 6 I felt like a lot of the dialogue just didn't work.
As a fan, I only wanted more. I would have loved to have seen a time jump ten years down the road with Rick being the leader of the free world and finding a way to eliminate all of the walkers. Still, it was great to see Rick and Michonne reunited for real and fighting together like the old days. Just wonder what happened with Gabriel and all the rest. We need more!
Lost potential also could have been a longer character arc for okafar and he ends up haviing some form of dynamic with michonne that could have added more complexity before he died. A lot of good with this show but a decent amount of bad to make it noticeable and harder to swallow the thing in its entirety
Interviews are showing they could still come back and do more... Dania isnt saying no its done - shes just not really answering the question - so I think they will def be back in some way - if it was truly done then it would be an easy answer that they are done ...period... but she didnt once say NO
Yeah I think this is very common for when a show/ movie comes out like this, if it's hugely successful for AMC and TWD then they'll do anything they can to get Danai and Andy to sign on for more, if the show was a failure we'd probably be seeing more definitive "No we won't be back" in interviews, but the show was clearly VERY popular, so the door will always be open!
Good review. I agree with you 100%. Good show. 1st part of episode 6 was good. However, episode felt rushed. Didnt use MG Beale correctly. Justbmy humble opinion.
It was a little strange for World Beyond to end with the huge reveal about variants for that not to be followed up on here, even Daryl Dixon being set in France has yet to address those variants

It was ok. There was just sooo much waisted potential with the CRM. I was bummed to see them be taken out way to easily.

Great finale, they did a fantastic job with the whole season. Felt like TWD peak days
