Im sure Tadej’s new bike has been fitted and designed down to the micron to fit his body, the guy gets paid close to 7mil a year. His coaches are going to definitely ensure he remains the climbing king. He lead with huge gaps in most races especially hilly coursed ones. I can only see him not doing too hot on flatter courses considering he’s not a sprinter.
at the end of 2023. alot of people thought 2024 was going to be yet another visma year. just because you have a perfect season, nothing is promised for the next. no one expects their prime star to crash like vingegaard did, but it could've just as much been anyone else than him
@@abdul-kabiralegbe5660 I think he'd love it. I will be very surprised if he is not racing two Grand Tours... The WC is well suited to his skillset... long and hilly - disadvantaging the sprinters... Maybe Milan San Remo if his team is strong enough to get him over the final hill with a lead? Paris Roubaix is a crash risk... but he certainly is well suited to a long solo attack with terrain to suit...
Not to mention, another factor is that Evenepoel and especially Vingegaard had significant crashes in 2024. Don't expect a repeat of that, which makes the competition much tougher in 2025.

Is there any suggestion that he’ll ride the giro? It seems so unlikely to me - nothing to gain (except start money) and it would write off doing the vuelta
Vermeersch now with politt, wellens, oliveira , etc tadej will have such a strong team qhen he rides roubaix. Politt is podium caluber on cobbles/pave. If he has no setbacks in training and cones into 2025 as lean as he was for strade and lombardia it will ve interesting. Usually want to run heavy over cobbles to maintain traction but that kight frame allows gis already outrageous power to propel him at pace over duration so kibg now body cam handle him. Giro would be impossible because of weight. That guro got him so lean and race ready for tour he never out a foot wrong. Colnogo teminds ne if that look seeo bike that had no stem. I despised it to be honest so sadly not huge fan of colnogo. Hand made Italian master craftsmanship. Uts the best
It's simple. If Jonas is healthy, it will be a tough year. If not, he is basically a lock for the Tour and Vuelta/Giro. Nobody else is close to those 2. The only race I don't see him winning is Paris Roubaix.
It won’t be a tough year if Vingegaard is healthy. It will be a tough TDF, because Vingo is only good for one, sometimes two big races a year, and only grand tours. He’s isn’t very good at one day races, cobbles, or gravel. Vingegaard is a Grand Tour specialist, not an all-arounder.
If we could fast forward 10years. I think 6 or 7 tour de france wins would be the best "achievement" The monuments are not at all less incredible to win---but if we talk about "legendary status" in 20 or 50 year's time, TDF wins are still the golden ticket.
The parcours of the race take years of negotiations to be finalised. How would Proudhomme know who would win in 2025 so that the "right" cities, towns, communes and ski centres enter into negotiations with ASO in 2024 in order to be awarded a stage in 2026? It doesn't make sense.
Crazy how we don‘t even count Lombardia as one of his big wins although it is a monument because he wins it every year😂(Liege also not mentioned)

Vingo produced the personal best records for his watts in 2024 TDF. They would have been even higher had he not been injured.
