I have a quite similar 64-3. I believe it's previous owner had the four inch barrel removed, then refitted with a six inch barrel with target sights, front and rear. It has an unpinned barrel. The slim smooth trigger and smaller hammer just like your fine 67. Thank you
Edit: I believe it's the most accurate revolver I own.

I just got one of these that my mother got from my dad brand new when my parents divorced in 1979. It is a no-dash just like yours except this one has never been fired... ever. I know the entire history of this gun. Unfortunately, my mom threw the box away when she got it and wrapped it in an oily rag and put it in her safe, where it has sat, untouched for 43 years. When I got it you could not cycle the action. The grease had congealed. I cleaned it and it is tight as a drum in mint condition. My came with the wood grips just like yours and they are flawless.

I recently bought an 67 for under $400 in excellent shape.

My first agency-issued sidearm, back in 1987. Carried it until transferring to another agency that issued the Ruger P-85 in 1990. I always shot the revolver better, though.
I acquired another 67 a couple of years ago for nostalgia reasons. I can't help to wonder if this one also provided comfort to a lawman on the job at one time. A right-side stock that's a bit more faded than the other one seems to indicate that it did.
    Thanks for sharing.

I believe I have one of these which was sold to me as a model 64, however it did not look like one and thought it might be a model 15 until I became aware of the model 67. Shoots very, very nice! Thanks for sharing your much more pristine masterpiece. I also like the model 581s very much as the Distinguished Service Magnums are hard to find.

I have a no dash model 67. Actually my wife does,I’m just the caretaker. We’ve been married for 22 years and she had it long before I came along. We’ve got a few classic S&W revolvers. The model 67 is a very good looking revolver.

Beautiful gun. Love revolvers but only have one and it is the 67-5. My most fun gun to me and a true work of art and classic.

Interesting. I have a model 67-2 . I'm surprised to see yours with a standard trigger but a combat hammer. I also see your barrel is pinned. Mine has the combat trigger, combat hammer. None pinned barrel and I have the black sights with the orange front sight insert.

The air force used to carry these to if I'm not mistaken.
