This crochet ruffle crop top is easy to make , even for beginners !
You can adjust it and make it to you own size , it’s really easy
If you prefer to make a longer top it’s possible too , just make more rows (not 8 but more) 💗

Material :
Hook size 4mm
2/3 balls of yarn , I used Paris yarn by Drops
Each ball is 50g

And just a heads up for everyone, when measuring the waist try subtracting about 5 inches since it expands when you start adding the double crochets! ❤️😀

This top is super cute but just from crocheting I've realized its really helpful to have a super loose and long double crochet? I've had to add many more rows because I started crocheting with the same hook size and yarn weight but too tightly and it wasn't long enough. Lovely tutorial, thank you!

Hi sorry to bother you! But I just started making this top and as I was making the cups I realized that my hole, or the one where u chain two and then double crochet at the top, is not centered idk why what’s a way i can fix that?
I only have have size 3 coton yarn, would I still get the same result by following this tutorial ?

You can just use a sewing technique with a yarn needle ☺️

Just with a yarn needle , you put the 2 pieces together (right side facing the other right side) and you can sew the 2 pieces together with a basic sewing technique ☺️
Does the yarn size have to be the same as the hook size??
Nope!! Use whatever yarn you prefer (I used double knit) and you can use the hook size that the yarn recommends on the label or whatever you prefer!!

mine used around two balls of wool roughly :) or one and a half - can’t remember sorry haha
Do I need to skip two stitches before starting row2? (after chaining 2 stitches)

Is it supposed to be really ruffled during the beginning dc rows?
During the row of 2 dc into the same stitch yes it is really ruffled but then it will be ok as the rows go
Do I DC once or twice in each stitch in rows 4-8?

Hey ! You can just sew them together , put the wrong faces facing and with a needle you can sew the 2 parts ☺️

You join from the front with the little tie :)

I've reached row 5 of ruffle body part and realized only now that the yarn has stretched out to 5 inches bigger than my body 😭 Is there anyway to save it? Please somebody let me know cause I'm too heartbroken to delete all the works 😭
It happened to me also but I just unraveled it and started back 🙁
I skipped a couple of stitches while attaching the bra, successfully shortening it. Thanks anyways!

i did this and i put 2 dc in each stitch and it created wayyyyy more ruffles and it looks way different

I always explain with my voice for when I edit and then just write and put the music but this time I forgot to take off my voice lol but maybe I will explain with my voice now it could be better ☺️

For this part you just need to make a double crochet in each stitch , you can make as many rows as you need to create the length that you want , and when you change rows just chain 2 and turn your work ☺️
2 dc or single? im confused too @clara sauve
Only 1 DC in each stitch , 2DC in each stitch was only for the row before to start the ruffle , here you only need to make 1DC in each stitch so your ruffle part can be longer 😊
