I love that you caught so early on that this movie is After coded because the book that it’s based on was *also* apparently a Harry Styles fan fiction. This poor man has inspired some of the weirdest stories.
Lmao it wasnt fanfic, the character was just inspired by Harry Styles, among other celebrities, which is very normal in writing. It was published as a regular book, never fanfic. It does feel like a fanfic tho.

Yeah, you might feel more fulfilled reading the book. It goes into significant more depth about WHY they like each other... And drama in the band and stuff. Yeah, all the topics just get delved into significantly deeper than they were touched upon in the movie. Unfortunately there just wasn't time to adapt the actual INTERESTING aspects of the book lmao.
