The four original members created magic together. I remember when this first aired on MTV, it was the greatest feeling seeing them back together again!!
As someone who has met Ace Frehley many times, he is by far my favorite rock star. He's talented, and very very personable. He likes to do his own thing. I'd love to see him back in KISS with Peter again, but other than a Rock N ROll Hall of Fame concert, I dont see it happening. Ace is sober.....and very happy....let's leave him that way. He deserves it.
No matter how fantastic guitar player Tommy Thayer is - he must crap bricks everytime Ace is mentioned, or is around. Ace and Peter made Kiss a rock band. I love Paul and Gene, but no-one influenced musicians as much as Ace did. If you listen to Ace sing "Spacing out and having fun..." he even tosses in a bit of Sex Pistols era Johnny Rotten with his atonal vocalization. Ace is one of the greatest American rock and roll guitar players who ever graced this planet.
I was a KISS fan since Destroyer was released when I was 13. But, I would give just about anything to relive them getting back together in 1995. It was truely magical. Literally brought back all the memories to life.
This is one of my top five songs of all time. Not the stones version. Not the studio version. Not the electric version. This one. Man, it sounds so good, I could listen to it over and over and over and over and over and over again
I remember when this happend it hurts alot . To see my bros fav band get back togther just to fall apart later , man money is really is the evil of the world.
It's actually from the DVD. I ripped it and chopped the intro/outro myself. If the DVD version is the same as the broadcast version, then you're correct...but this isn't from a VHS or other TV broadcast directly
i love lesening kiss on youtube i have lesen to them every sent 1974 and it would be nice if they would come to kentucky i would love it to see they in concert
Arlo Guthrie didn't write the city of New Orleans:-- The Byrds didn't write Turn Turn Turn Manford Mann didn't write Mighty Quinn OR Blinded by the light, but they made them sing. KISS makes this Stones song sing. It's great to see the original members together, unmasked, and acoustic.
2000 MAN Recorded: August 20 - 30 and September 1 -7, 1967. Released on Their Satanic Majesties Request in December of 1967. Vocals: Mick Jagger Bass: Bill Wyman Guitars: Keith Richards Drums: Charlie Watts Organ: Brian Jones 2000 MAN (Jagger/Richards)
because peter and ace only sang one song each. this concert wasn't about the reunion, ace's and peter's songs were just a little treat ;) and paul wrote hard luck woman, so why not sing it? i waited years and years to hear him sing this song. the whole show was about those little treats the fans would want...

Ace didn't write it but he was BORN to sing it! Jagger and Richards must LOVE Ace's version:)

Ace's doing his best, but... LOOK AT PETER! HE'S SO HAPPY! Like he's in wonder-rock'n'roll-land :-)

ACE IS ROCK ROYALTY! TIMELESS!
I LOVE ACE FREHLEY
ACE, PETER, PAUL, & GENE. THAT'S FUCKING MAGIC!!
Peter looks so happy ^^
Damn, this reunion was almost 20 years ago, my favourite moment was the chorus when Gene and Paul joined in on "Don't you know? I'm a 2000 man"
Ace makes this song awesome. I really like the original aswell.

ACE +Peter +Gene+Paul = KISS ! Nobody else ..♥
LoL, even when he plays acoustically he plays a cherry sunburst guitar.
That's Ace Frehley's daughter 'Monique' who he reaches out to in the crowd after getting hugs from Paul & Gene
i love Ace's marilyn monroe shirt xD
Ace was the real rocker in the band.
only one guy i know that can pull off a marilyn monroe shirt an its Ace
ACE Frehley!!
Nothing like the originals!
This is one of my top five songs of all time. Not the stones version. Not the studio version. Not the electric version.
This one. Man, it sounds so good, I could listen to it over and over and over and over and over and over again
this is magical!! awesome
Awesome. Love Ace.
Ace Frehley leaving Kiss, was like Slash leaving Gun's N' Roses!....still pretty good, but you won't be better!
impossible to describe it better!
Ace forever \m/
I loved this song when I was a kid now I'm 22 years old and I STILL love this song even though I haven't heard it in such a long long time
Peter and Ace the two "S" missing on this band's name.
Wow this is great, first time I see it, I can't like it enough
Ace is cooler than ice!
Ace truely looks like a rockstar here ;D
i love this version of it too. Ive been learning the rythym of it so now its time to learn the lead. .. fun song to play too
I cried
What a nice treat that was.
KISS as it was meant to be.
ace and pete!
go get em Ace you rock Stones rock too
I remember when this happend it hurts alot . To see my bros fav band get back togther just to fall apart later , man money is really is the evil of the world.
The Clarences love & support Kiss!
Agreed!! Ace was also the ONLY one, imo, to have a good song on their 'solo' quartet of albums...New York Groove was the shit..and I'm a PS girl!
Very cool indeed. Go Ace.
How Freaken kool is this? allways loved the Ace man!
great stuff
Bm;)
It's actually from the DVD. I ripped it and chopped the intro/outro myself. If the DVD version is the same as the broadcast version, then you're correct...but this isn't from a VHS or other TV broadcast directly
Financially they LOVED it !
timeless thanx for posting
Yes, this song was ' waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay ' a head of its time !
excellent!!!!!
KISS are the best!!! \m/
Ace is Cooler than being Cooler than Cooler *----------*
ace was kiss ... say it again ... say it once more...
I can't help thinking that Ace's successful solo career grates on Gene and Paul's nerves. The fact that their solo careers aren't as successful.
The Stones wrote a song that didn't fit their image. Ace on the other hand made it his and it sounds like a space ace song anyways.
awesome love it
Yup it is originally from the Stones album THEIR SATANIC MAJESTIES' REQUEST released in 1967
i love lesening kiss on youtube i have lesen
to them every sent 1974 and it would be nice
if they would come to kentucky i would love
it to see they in concert
Ace,.........i love this song .
i was soooo young, and this song is so real like the Andromeda Fog ...
and ever i look in the sky,... i feel this .
Ace has said this many times ,that he left by his own choice.
For a psychedelic lover they made a great song and made it a good one.
The guitar solo of this song, seems like a Rock n Roll All Nite solo ''-'
As much as i love The Stones i definitely agree with you
Ace and peter are rockers... Paul and gene are business men..
Hard thing to do...cover a Stones song and do it better!
You got that right...
if they had Peter and Ace play this...how is it that Hard Luck Woman was sung by Paul?
Arlo Guthrie didn't write the city of New Orleans:--
The Byrds didn't write Turn Turn Turn
Manford Mann didn't write Mighty Quinn OR Blinded by the light, but they made them sing.
KISS makes this Stones song sing. It's great to see the original members together, unmasked, and acoustic.
LE HACE EL AMOR COMO QUIERE A LA GUITARRAAA¡¡
So awesome
This is a great Stone's song and I'm not even that big of a Stone's fan.
It's an Epiphone PR-5E.

Ace Frehley o/ o/ o/
that's what I wrote in the description :)
2012 man!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yup ! I'll have nothing to do with them with Frehley not in the line up.
Sorry - had to edit my post to fit within TH-cam's"Twitter-esque" restrictions.
oh my god it so does *-*
actually not bad :)
I think he's playing an Epiphone PR5-E.
This and the Studio Version off DYNASTY put the stones' version to shame...Have to wonder just how much Acid the stones were doing at the time. lol
@GodThot you misunderstood my comment, it was a statement derived from my opinion, respect it like I respect your opinion!
would have been much funnier if gene fell off the chair at 7:12
Ace is God
The fucking 2000!!!.... Thanks Gene!!!
YES, FROM THE BEGGARS BANQUET ALBUM IN 1968
ace sings like mick
In the case of Ace, drugs is the reason. He was on heroin in 2002......
Peter, it was money.
Ha ha. Funny as
Ace is Cooler than Cool @_@
this is my song
