What should be done with the remaining solid vermi-compost after tea has been extracted from it several times?
Hi
After you've extracted vermicompost tea from the solid vermicompost several times, the remaining solid material can still be beneficial for your garden or plants.
1. You can mix the remaining solid vermicompost into your garden soil or potting mix. It will continue to release nutrients slowly and improve the overall soil structure.
2. Spread a thin layer of vermicompost on the surface of your garden soil. As it breaks down, it will enrich the topsoil and provide nutrients to your plants.
