There was one a short walk from my apartment in Sembayashi. My go-to was a cold beer with the gyoza / chahan / ramen set. Plus they had all you can eat kimchi. It was awesome.

I had dinner there and that was in early 2019. Food was acceptable and the shop was very busy due to its location. Not bad for a simple quick meal and price was reasonable. They hired a few foreign workers and the service is okay.

I was in Osaka once on holiday. Walked past that place, but never had the nerve to go in. My whole family loved Osaka. Nice, informal people there.

I'm learning how to make gyoza. I want to make it where it's brown on one side, and steamed on the other. Like here. Looks awesome.
Not that hard. You just need a pot or a sauce pan with lid. fry dumplings with some cooking oil, and put some water while cook it.
