@MrKravin, this game is entirely written in Java. The developers wrote a specialized engine for their game series. It does use some third party libraries, though.
Rotten in the state of Denmark is a Hamlet quote to mean something is amiss in some particular situation i.e. Edna's father may actually be xyz or abc etc. etc. Anyway, this game looks legit. Love the old school feel, look, and the wonky animations. Gives it a quaint charm.
