I watched Sherpa every morning. The video would appear around 11am here on the East coast. Praying for Jamie he said his entire world has been flipped upside down.

I wish I could give Jamie a hug and bring him over a hot dish of food for him to snack on; Sherpa touched so many lives… I keep thinking about the little animated story little Christmas story was so sweet …Jamie has done so much to bring him into our lives, I wish there was more I could do, but I’m just a poor old man who’s retired and lost his wife a couple years ago due to cancer too. I had to hold her arm down so the nurse could administered the last shot she had been fighting them. I didn’t know she was going to ask for euthanasia. I got a call 11:30 P.M….on a Friday the ICU doctor,she said I better come as quickly as possible my dear wife decided to end the suffering, my heart is still broken w/ & uncontrollably weeping right now about our Sherpa and what Jamie has to deal with now. Rest in peace my/our Dear Sherpa. And Sherpa’s Guardian, Jamie… may he also find peace and solace in this time of grieving. ❤️🩹
Sherpa is running around the biggest garden in doggie heaven with lots of treats and toys and most probably lots of doggie friends. RIP Sherpa. Jamie he will always be by your side, you just can’t see him. Love to you Jamie and sister Sarah.

My wife died of cancer, almost 3 1/2 years ago, and when I first wake up, I I find myself acting in a way that would not disturb someone that was in bed with me because I still can’t believe she’s not there and for a few seconds, I try to get up quietly… and then I realize what I’m doing. And, so… that’s how my days start, and I’m sure Jamie will be feeling the same way looking for that little dog to take care of… breaks my heart!❤️

She said glancing over at his empty recliner took her breath away. I pray you can find peace and comfort, but I know your life will never be the same. One of the difficult things Jamie has to do is removing Sherpa’s beds and his food. And the last unboxing Sherpa got several gifts. Maybe Sarah can help him. Over 40 years, I have had quite a few fur babies. Losing even one of them, is devastating and due to age/illnesses I have had to "help" them cross the rainbow bridge. As others have said, Jaime will appreciate your kind words in remembrance of his best friend.

Great tribute. They might have given Sherpa the title of Lord, but Jamie treated him like a King. They were the perfect dog/dad pair. A little proof is the hundreds of hours Jamie spent driving Sherpa to Keyush house for play dates. A couple hours driving each way so the dogs could enjoy themselves. Amazing dedication. RIP Sherpa. I feel just like the rest of you because I really enjoy watching Sherpa and Jamie. They traveled to so many places in England and Wales and it was very interesting to see for me because I will probably never get a chance to see those places in person. May "Lord Sherpa" RIP. After I watched that video I could clearly see that he was fading fast and I feel Jamie made the right decision. Nobody wanted to watch Sherpa in that condition. He lived a long and very happy life and that is how he should be remembered.

Such a wonderful tribute. I am sitting here at 3:30 in the morning having just across this with tears rolling down my checks. We have all lost many non human members of the family and it is heart wrenching. Jaime shared Sherpa with us all and also in my case brought Key and Jodie in as well. It is so sad to have to let Sherpa go even though his pain is gone and we know he will be playing his beloved robins forever awaiting his reunion with Jamie. Andy thank you for expressing what many have not had the opportunity to express.

My granddaughter and I loved Jamie's video with Sherpa ..what is heartbreaking about this more then ever is that Jamie feels like there is nothing without Sherpa he lived for Sherpa! He has forgotten he is a while person still even without Sherpa! It's gonna take a lot to make Jamie whole again. It is so sad to have to let Sherpa go even though his pain is gone and we know he will be playing his beloved robins forever awaiting his reunion with Jamie.

Andy, such a sweet tribute from a kind young man. Your Mom would be very proud of you. She raised you to be compassionate, loving, and respectful. I have cried for two days over our sweet Sherpa. My heart breaks for Jamie because he’s in that house alone, and has to look out at that big yard without Sherpa lying there. To those of us that have lost pets, we know how heartbreaking this time is for Jamie and everyone that loved that precious dog. He’s in Heaven now and I’m sure Jesus is listening to Sherpa talk. I’m sure your Mom will greet Sherpa, and I know my parents and brother will give him a warm welcome as well. Heaven just gained another angel. My granddaughter and I loved Jamie's video with Sherpa ..what is heartbreaking about this more then ever is that Jamie feels like there is nothing without Sherpa he lived for Sherpa! He has forgotten he is a while person still even without Sherpa! It's gonna take a lot to make Jamie whole again. He has such a big ❤️.I'm hoping one day he opens it again to a rescue animal / pet that Sherpa sends him somehow!!

He was a beautiful Fur baby and king to Jamie because God knew that he would take good care of him and to have an owner do what Jamie did for his Fur baby it's amazing there's only a few out there so God bless you for those kind words and may God give Jamie strength because this has. Andy, GOD BLESS YOU for making this video! WE ALL LOVE JAMIE, AND WE ALL LOVED SHERPA!!!!!!! The community of GOOD FRIENDS, that Jamie has built, are devastated! Us FURRY FAMILY owners knew it was coming, but like Jamie, we were ALL HOPING AND PRAYING FOR A MIRACLE!!!!!!! Losing FAMILY is NEVER easy! We lost our VLAD this past January 19th, my Birthday. He was ONLY 6 1/2 years old! We had to give him "End of Life Care", as the cancer was too much for him. We cry everyday! Let's ALL send Jamie our PRAYERS AND LOVE, ALWAYS!!!!!!! I have been subed to Sherpa and Keyush for many years now. I watch their video every single time they post. This was such a wonderful tribute to Jamie. I think we all cried while watching Jamie's video of Sherpa's last day. They have been a big part of my daily life like family.
