Just came across your video. I own both of the reels mentioned and have done comparison vids as well. The chaos is a floating spool design it is a more modern reel then the rover in my opinion. Making it allot smoother and able to cast farther. Now when you get into the chaos xs60 that is a larger reel similar to a abu garcia 7000 it is also a 2 pin breaking system and a fixed spool design instead of a floating spool like the xs 50 and xs 40. Nice vid keep up the good work.
i have yet to own a chaos reel but i have the rover 60 and my wife shireena has the rover 40 and just got her the rover 60. i like the rover just as well as my abu's.
How long have you had the Rovers? I'm always glad to hear of positive experiences. I really like the idea of a floating spool vs a fixed spool, but I think that is from my bass fishing days. I'd love to see a round baitcaster that disengages the level wind during a cast the way the low profile bass reels do.
Slime cats and rovers are the sane. Heard same factory line and all. Pisifun is a solid good affordable company. Hard working well built reels at an affordable price. Slimecat isn't all that good anywaysv
I have 2 chaos 50s I didn't know the thumb bar flips up 🙄. Also what is the purpose of thumb bar, I feel like if you get a backlash it harder to work theine because the bar is in the way
It is called a "thumb rest" in the schematics. A lot of anglers like to grip the reel instead of (or in addition to) the rod, especially with the low profile baitcasters. This thumb rest gives you a place for your thumb to sit while "palming" the reel and allows for a better "grip" when using that method. If you don't hold your reels that way, you can remove it and toss it in the box in the back of your closet.
The 50 does come with a power handle. Unfortunately, the stock photos available are lacking. I took what I could find, but you have a great eye! I have updated the thumbnail.
loved your video , as i have both of those reels . i agree there is things i like better about both .. here's a treat piscifun 18% discount ,, code cat18 good all year

Good Information.
Correct me if I'm wrong but is that the chaos 40 in the thumbnail? I thought the 50 came with a power handle?

i had a problem with my chaos50 the thumb rest fell off and must of been when i was casting ,, doesn't affect the reel i just liked how it felt on it
David, if you contact Piscifun, they should have replacement parts. I'm surprised it flew off as mine are clipped on pretty firmly.
@@fishingthemidsouth the thumb rest are meant to come off aswell,if you donr want them
Excellent video amigo..
