FYI Jackson hole is the name of the whole valley. The towns name is Jackson. We are heading there on Friday and staying at Gros Vente for a week and then off to Yellowstone for another week at Fishing bridge RV.
As for bugs, wear long sleeved shirt and pants. Treat your clothes and hat with Permethrin. You will be able to ward off most of bugs (best for ticks) and wouldn’t have to put on that toxic poison Deet all over your body. As a bonus you wouldn’t have to worry about covering your body with sun tan lotion. All you have to do is little sun tan lotion on your face. Drink a lot of water. Don’t wear cotton clothes. Sweat won’t dry off easy.
Alaska is definitely something on our bucket list, our only challenge is the distance and time off needed from work to make the trip worthwhile. Have a safe trip!!

Was this Headwaters at Flagg Ranch? I just booked us there yesterday (12/31) for June, so they must open reservations prior to Jan 1st. Also we have a Minnie Winnie 1700bh 😀

There is some internet in places in the southern part of the park closer to Jackson Hole.

Yes headwaters, they have an RV park there as well and you get access to the lodge as well

For that trip we had our 16’ Winnebago 170k and towed with a 2015 Toyota Tundra.. since then we purchased a Grand design 2400BH
