Ghostin hit me hard, I experienced a similar situation to her early last year. My boyfriend passed away from an accidental overdose and I was speaking to him on the phone that day. He went to take a nap and next thing I knew he was gone. What you guys said about appreciating people and making sure they know it everyday is true. Forget all the petty things to fight about, talk about them and move on never just go to bed angry. These are words my boyfriend told me and now they're stuck with me.

Sending my love hun, I lost my husband in 2016 very suddenly as well. It wasn't drug related but it was a shock for sure, as he was only 25 and we'd been married 4 months (together 4 1/2 yrs). It's a tough road to navigate, dealing with that loss. "Ghostin" hit me in that same way, especially because lying in bed at night is always the worst time because you're alone with your thoughts. But I guess what we have to carry with us is the fact that they are always with us, they're always a part of us. Like the poem says; "I carry your heart with me, I carry it in my heart"
@@TwistedDoll09 I'm sorry for your loss and appreciate your words. The first few months were extremely difficult because you go from talking to them everyday then dead silence. I'd see him in my dreams a lot too but those have since stopped. We used to speak only in voice messages so I have all those saved on my phone and I'll just listen to our conversations. It really sucks to only be left with memories and bits of pieces of conversations.
Finally a channel that noticed the Mac Miller sample of “2009” on ghostin.. that sound touched my heart, I miss Mac so much!!
Fun Fact: Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored was the last song added to the album and it replaced a previous track which was going on the album called reMeMber. Ariana said she took it off because she felt it was just too personal and she didn’t feel like sharing it with the world anymore. Many believe it was a farther tribute to Mac than ghostin. I wonder how personal she got on it since ghostin is already very personal but I respect her decision if she’s not ready share it with the world since everyone already says she’s “milking mac’s death” 🥺🙄

2) My take on the last song was that lyrically, the song means what you think it means "break up with your girlfriend so I can have you cuz I'm bored" but the music video she decided to take a different direction - she was trying to break up the couple (hence telling the guy to break up with his girlfriend) but was actually trying to have the girl for herself. The girl looked like Ariana because it was symbolizing that Ari was falling in love with herself.
