Love, love, love your reactions to our "swedish music exports". :-D We have sooo many. If you haven´t heard Roxette you should definately check them out. Enjoy Marie and Per singing "It must have been love". Per is still an active musician. Marie sadly died due to an brain tumour a few years ago. Their voices together were magic. Per wrote all the music himself and they were megastars in the 90´s.

I have watched a lot of your videos, among others like all of your Sweden-videos (”Swideos”..?). Until recently I couldn’t log in on TH-cam through many years, but now I can and this is one of my first comments ever (and your channel is one of my very first subscriptions! Anyway, liked this one especially much, since I’m a distant relative to the singer, known by his stage name Joey Tempest (real name; Joakim Larsson). Not through blood, but through my aunt-in-law (she’s been in my family since long before I was born though). I heard of this and started getting interested in them just before they split up in ’92, when I was 7.
Then they reformed in 2004, but by then my interest had cooled off since long. But tomorrow they’re playing together with another big 80s rock band, Whitesnake (I don’t really vare for them; I’m all for Europe in this case) outside of our second city, Gothenburg, and as I live on an island on the west coast, I’m gonna see them for the first time!! I’m going with a friend/collegue who’s been a fan since before I was born, and she even interviewed Joey several times from the 80’s and on, and she’s been backstage many times, so hopefully I can meet my ”relative” (my friend doesn’t think we’re real relatives, but she’s just jealous ’cause he’s her idol)! I’ve also made my living as a musician for many years, so this is about time! So great timing with this reaction!

Only 3 songs by them I remember: "Final Countdown", "Carrie" and "Superstitious"(not to be confused with the Stevie Wonder song "Superstition")

The original version of the song has a better (I think) ending.

This is how the got started, the name was Force but Yngwie Malmsteen had a band in the same competion called Rising Force so Joey decided to change the bands name to EUROPE, and in this video you will see Tony Reno on drums he was later replaced with Ian Haugland, Mic came in to the band later on as well. th-cam.com/video/2DTZ05ISBkE/w-d-xo.html
