You know, being a teenager in this generation is hard. And being a christian can be 10x harder. Why? Because the amount of pressure we have as teenagers is so difficult. Sin is everywhere around us, in school, friends, social media, etc. It's very difficult not to be influenced by them. I ask that you would pray for me, that i would change and stand out from everyone. To change this generation. i, myself has recently became a christian. And it is very difficult. Please, pray for the young people in this generation - like myself.
be more active in your church youth group or young adult if you're in that age already. it is difficult, but if you're with other believers it's a joy especially serving Christ!
For 40 years I ran away from god, I hated him, I hated Christians. Because of that, I turned into a bitter, hateful man, drove my wife away, hurt my family, involved in cheating, lying and loathed and hated myself and even started contemplating suicide, again. 5 days ago, God drew me back into his waiting arms and I asked God to forgive me, and Jesus to come into my heart. In one second, 40 years worth of all that pain went away. Thank you God for being you and forgiving me. A true miracle. To those who are like I was, all I can say is that God loves you, and I know how you feel.
I'm fine. I haven't ever felt so at peace as I have been since. He has not only restored me, but also took away all that pain, hatred, and every other bad feeling a human could build up after so many years. Thank you for your concern, and please do pray for me!

about 5years ago, I turned against God thinking that he wasn't real all because I was a drug addict, wound up in prison and contracted a life threatening disease. 2 weeks ago when I was ready to end my life because I seen that I was heading right back down the same road, a very special friend of mine whom I've known for 9 years (cooper), out of the blue stepped back in my life and showed me how God was real, all I had to do was believe and ask him to forgive me. I know now that God sent my friend to show me he was real and how to believe in him again. I later started seeing signs and things that I used to think was coincidences, but I know now that it was God and he's been right with me the whole time. I then cried on my friends shoulder and couldn't control it. I found God again and I can't thank joseph Cooper enough for all he's done for me

I went through the same thing about 9 months ago and then I met this girl. And she was a deep christan. I grew up in a christan house hold and knew Jesus but never really Walked with him and lived the life style but since I met her I've been saved and now I feel God is calling me to be a preacher. Prior to meeting her, I used to listen to rap music( the evil kind ) and try to act black (not being racist I'm just telling my testimony) and trying to be someone I'm not. I hung out with the wrong crowd and always felt alone and sad and depressed. I would be on snap chat and see all my peers out at a fun party or hanging out and always felt like no one wanted me and alone. I always felt something in my soul, like hunger, but didn't know how to satisfy it. Until I met the girl. She invited me to bible study and I went. And I slowly but surely felt the Holy Spirit inside of me. Then I was invited I her church. I declined a couple times being afraid of walking into a group of people I don't know. But eventually I went. And I was saved. I went back to my home roots ( wich is country since I live in the south ) and quickly gained a new group of christan friends. Now I've been invited to every party and I'm so popular at school. I feel wanted and loved and it's all thanks to Jesus. Since then, I have saved two people ( one is my bestfriend ) and the girl who saved me is now my girlfriend. God is great. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise my friend. He's coming soon, save as many people as possible brother. I love you and so does Jesus. God bless America!🇺🇸

My friend, spiritual mentor and neighbor suddenly woke at 2AM on Easter Sunday, and at 88 years young he got up and Googled this beautiful song after he recalled the title only. Evidently many artists covered this song, so he listened to everyone’s different version. I’m a bit younger than he, but I look up to him as my primary connection and confidant to our Lord, our savior. When HE speaks, I listen. He told me of the story of his awakening a few minutes ago. I came in, looked it up listened, more than once. it lifted me to a new experience with its beautiful meaning and arrangement. I'm 23 months free from seizures after having one in May 2022. I feel like I have a new life in Christ because I am able to do more now without anxiety about having another seizure. Thank You, Jesus!!!!!

I remember crying so much that night and it opened my eyes and it touched my heart. it reminded me that a year ago when I was hurting badly and attempted suicide because I struggled. But someone came and helped me, my sister found me. in the hospital I saw a woman in the emergency room with a rosary and she was in tears praying. I felt selfish for what I did trying to end my life when others around me are praying that their loved ones would still be awake to see the next day. I started to pray to god again that night.. while I was in the institution a day later I heard this song and I broke down.. and when he played that song at ncyc 2015 I broke down the same way and prayed to Jesus for forgiveness of my selfish sinful acts

Im in a boarding school for the week and every week and I only go home on saturday. I always feel homesick and I cant sleep at night. Last night me and some of my friends went to a Christian performance of Jesus’s life and resurrection and after the performance there was a time of worship and praise where people could come up to the altar if they wanted and I didn’t go up to the altar at first cause I didn’t want to go alone and none of my friends were moving but then reckless love came on and I booked it to the altar and there was a lot of people so I was kinda far away but I started slowly inching up closer and a few songs I didn’t know came on and I still worshipped but I also prayed that a song I know would play and they played what a beautiful name it is and I started shaking and let a few tears fall cause I love that one and then after that one this song played and I literally started bawling my eyes out and I was shaking so hard and I’ve honestly never felt so close to God and filled with the Holy Spirit so moral of the story always go to the altar cause you never know how amazing it can feel

I love this song. When my prayer was answered, this song dawned on me. Hey, I'm alive, no, I'M ALIVE--BECAUSE HE LIVES-- If not for the stripes of Jesus Christ a life would be lost. Jesus my rescuer came and delivered. I'm alive, I'm alive, because HE LIVES! p.s. prayers are answered because Christ Jesus lives. When a dead man was prayed for, he came to life; Abundant Life. When confirmation stated through many witnesses through these words, "Man, take up your bed and walk," a miracle happened, and the man walked. All I see when I look at the comments is people saying they've found God. I couldn't be happier for them but I have lost him and I can't find him again with the pandemic. I've forgotten how to pray and I've forgotten how to love him. I've sunk down and am trying to pull myself back up. But it's not seeming to work. I just started highschool and nothing makes sense anymore. No one around me seems to notice I've been struggling.

This song is close to impossible for me to listen to without tearing up. When I was very young I was constantly made fun of by a number of bullies including having rocks and sticks thrown at me on multiple occasions. I wasn't sure if there was a God, but I was sure he hated me if he existed. At my lowest I began to want to die, though I never started to make a plan to kill myself. Before I could my mother pulled me from my school and I was sent to a Christian one that, though flawed, was exactly what I needed to find faith in Christ. I'm literally alive because He lives.

I was on the verge of being homeless and losing my home . All because of of a employer lie which made me jobless. When all the doors were close . I always remember Jesus and Peter on the lake . Keep the faith and ye will calm the storms. I was able to take my employer to court and defended myself. With God as my witness I won the case . Jesus Christ reigns forever! I’m a teenager living in this pandemic and I was going through a really rough time a little bit ago even when I thought I had Jesus. I’ve been a Christian for a few years but I never really payed much attention to him. My life stayed the same because of what I was doing wrong, he’s only ever helped me. So much has changed now, I’m happier than I was before now that I really have Christ. I learned that if I just listen to him and TRUST him, then he will make everything better. I was in a healing meeting but I didn’t mention that I was suffering from sciatica. I saw others who were way worse off so I didn’t even pray about myself because I could still get my work done. As the lady was praying for others, she was saying “someone who has a neck problem or stomach problem, etc”. She didn’t mention my problem. But suddenly I felt healing coming from the bottom of my pain all the way up !! The best way to describe was like God was using a white eraser sponge and erasing the problem and it’s pain. I ran up and asked to testify of my healing at ty😂 mic. The lady looked shocked like “we didn’t say your problem”. All the audience and even my mom didn’t really react but I sing and shout praises to Jesus !!! I’ve never had it since.

I would tell you to go to a good church, but in these times, it might not be the safest thing. You can watch an online church service though (like Global Vision Bible Church in Tennessee. Look them up on facebook). Continue in the word of God and prayer. Store up a treasure in Heaven, that your heart might be in Heaven, for your treasure is where your heart is at (Matthew 6:19-21). It's because Matt Maher is Catholic, and in their mind Catholics aren't really Christian, never mind the fact we're the original Christians, the first Christians, and history attests to this, when people talk about "the Church" throughout history, it's not Protestants, it's not Mormons, it's Catholics. I'm not saying that the sound triumphalistic but that's true. Seriously, search this guy's name, and put the word Catholic in front of it, you'll get a bunch of Google results about how he's not really saved. I'm not angry at you, or even your comment, but I have flat out seeing people say that about him. I do think differences between Christians do matter, and I am not one of those people that says as long as you believe in Jesus, because believe in Jesus means doing what he says , but that being said, whether you are Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox, or even Muslim, seriously I have a Muslim friend that listens to Christian music, I'm just glad you're here.
I was listening to this song in the shower the other day and I started crying. The song is so true and I think we as a people don't pay full attention to it when our minds aren't focused on it and just enjoying the song in full and taking it all in. I love to sing along to songs, but in the car or whenever I always get distracted and it takes me a vulnerable moment to realize exactly what I'm singing about and how true it really is.

My father past last on this day. He accepted Christ a few days before he passed and I remember heading to hospital after I got the call. As I got into my car this song came I felt the reassurances that he was with God in glory. AMEN AMEN
This song really touches my heart. A few years ago I had a stroke and was in a coma and apparently had a lot of things going wrong with me. The doctors had no clue if I would wake up and if I did , they didn't know what to expect. But by Gods grace I woke up with my mind fully functional, I had to learn to eat again, walk again, talk again even learn to breathe on my own again. And now today I sit here with only a limp in my left leg when I walk and I can't stand up for long periods of times. But I am alive, and I am alive because He Lives. I only found this song by "accident" a couple of months ago, and it just really fits me. Thank you Heavenly Father for always loving us, each and every one.
Yes, and this God has shown himself in three Divine persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I actually have an entire chapter in a book I wrote about it. Since I don't feel like quoting Bible verses non-stop, because I think verse slinging is a terrible way to debate, let's just check one verse, shall we? Phillipians 2:6 makes it explicitly clear, that Jesus is God. I went back and I checked the Greek.
In the comment section I read so many stories of love. The story I will share is that when I was young I went through severe depression. I told no one. I thought no one cared. That day it was raining and I went outside I swear I felt the Lord stronger then I ever did in my heart. I sang songs spontaneously cried tears of joy. Signs were around me as well. Through the dark clouds I saw a light shining at me and I swear I saw the Lord my savior at that moment. Every significant word I cried a thunder roared I bless and think of that moment every day and am glad to be blessed with this

You know, being a teenager in this generation is hard. And being a christian can be 10x harder. Why? Because the amount of pressure we have as teenagers is so difficult. Sin is everywhere around us, in school, friends, social media, etc. It's very difficult not to be influenced by them. I ask that you would pray for me, that i would change and stand out from everyone. To change this generation. i, myself has recently became a christian. And it is very difficult. Please, pray for the young people in this generation - like myself.

For 40 years I ran away from god, I hated him, I hated Christians. Because of that, I turned into a bitter, hateful man, drove my wife away, hurt my family, involved in cheating, lying and loathed and hated myself and even started contemplating suicide, again. 5 days ago, God drew me back into his waiting arms and I asked God to forgive me, and Jesus to come into my heart. In one second, 40 years worth of all that pain went away. Thank you God for being you and forgiving me. A true miracle. To those who are like I was, all I can say is that God loves you, and I know how you feel.

about 5years ago, I turned against God thinking that he wasn't real all because I was a drug addict, wound up in prison and contracted a life threatening disease. 2 weeks ago when I was ready to end my life because I seen that I was heading right back down the same road, a very special friend of mine whom I've known for 9 years (cooper), out of the blue stepped back in my life and showed me how God was real, all I had to do was believe and ask him to forgive me. I know now that God sent my friend to show me he was real and how to believe in him again. I later started seeing signs and things that I used to think was coincidences, but I know now that it was God and he's been right with me the whole time. I then cried on my friends shoulder and couldn't control it. I found God again and I can't thank joseph Cooper enough for all he's done for me

I've grown up in a Christian household, but personally hadn't made the choice to follow God. I was looking at porn and lusting, but then I was convicted by The Holy Spirit. Finally I made the choice to follow God. Although nobody may see this, writing this relieves me of a huge burden I've been carrying for such a long time. Praise God for His forgiveness.

I need to update my entire iTunes... I've been Christian my entire life, but never have I ever been this dedicated to the faith. At 24, I am understanding Jesus' love for us for the first time. I'm so devoted, so determined to change my life to serve Him only, to make Him proud of me.
Time to eliminate all the poison in my life, starting with all the stupid songs I have in my iTunes that have no meaning whatsoever...
I went through the same thing about 9 months ago and then I met this girl. And she was a deep christan. I grew up in a christan house hold and knew Jesus but never really Walked with him and lived the life style but since I met her I've been saved and now I feel God is calling me to be a preacher. Prior to meeting her, I used to listen to rap music( the evil kind ) and try to act black (not being racist I'm just telling my testimony) and trying to be someone I'm not. I hung out with the wrong crowd and always felt alone and sad and depressed. I would be on snap chat and see all my peers out at a fun party or hanging out and always felt like no one wanted me and alone. I always felt something in my soul, like hunger, but didn't know how to satisfy it. Until I met the girl. She invited me to bible study and I went. And I slowly but surely felt the Holy Spirit inside of me. Then I was invited I her church. I declined a couple times being afraid of walking into a group of people I don't know. But eventually I went. And I was saved. I went back to my home roots ( wich is country since I live in the south ) and quickly gained a new group of christan friends. Now I've been invited to every party and I'm so popular at school. I feel wanted and loved and it's all thanks to Jesus. Since then, I have saved two people ( one is my bestfriend ) and the girl who saved me is now my girlfriend. God is great. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise my friend. He's coming soon, save as many people as possible brother. I love you and so does Jesus. God bless America!🇺🇸

My friend, spiritual mentor and neighbor suddenly woke at 2AM on Easter Sunday, and at 88 years young he got up and Googled this beautiful song after he recalled the title only. Evidently many artists covered this song, so he listened to everyone’s different version.
I’m a bit younger than he, but I look up to him as my primary connection and confidant to our Lord, our savior.
When HE speaks, I listen. He told me of the story of his awakening a few minutes ago. I came in, looked it up listened, more than once. it lifted me to a new experience with its beautiful meaning and arrangement.

I remember crying so much that night and it opened my eyes and it touched my heart. it reminded me that a year ago when I was hurting badly and attempted suicide because I struggled. But someone came and helped me, my sister found me. in the hospital I saw a woman in the emergency room with a rosary and she was in tears praying. I felt selfish for what I did trying to end my life when others around me are praying that their loved ones would still be awake to see the next day. I started to pray to god again that night.. while I was in the institution a day later I heard this song and I broke down.. and when he played that song at ncyc 2015 I broke down the same way and prayed to Jesus for forgiveness of my selfish sinful acts

Last night me and some of my friends went to a Christian performance of Jesus’s life and resurrection and after the performance there was a time of worship and praise where people could come up to the altar if they wanted and I didn’t go up to the altar at first cause I didn’t want to go alone and none of my friends were moving but then reckless love came on and I booked it to the altar and there was a lot of people so I was kinda far away but I started slowly inching up closer and a few songs I didn’t know came on and I still worshipped but I also prayed that a song I know would play and they played what a beautiful name it is and I started shaking and let a few tears fall cause I love that one and then after that one this song played and I literally started bawling my eyes out and I was shaking so hard and I’ve honestly never felt so close to God and filled with the Holy Spirit so moral of the story always go to the altar cause you never know how amazing it can feel

All I see when I look at the comments is people saying they've found God. I couldn't be happier for them but I have lost him and I can't find him again with the pandemic. I've forgotten how to pray and I've forgotten how to love him. I've sunk down and am trying to pull myself back up. But it's not seeming to work. I just started highschool and nothing makes sense anymore. No one around me seems to notice I've been struggling.
Just pray for me because as soon I get this packet done I am going to take a few classes and get baptized for church

The nostalgia.
This song is close to impossible for me to listen to without tearing up. When I was very young I was constantly made fun of by a number of bullies including having rocks and sticks thrown at me on multiple occasions. I wasn't sure if there was a God, but I was sure he hated me if he existed. At my lowest I began to want to die, though I never started to make a plan to kill myself. Before I could my mother pulled me from my school and I was sent to a Christian one that, though flawed, was exactly what I needed to find faith in Christ. I'm literally alive because He lives.

Where those scars like metals and tell everyone! I just finished chemo for cancer and while I'm not out of the woods, I'm literally ALIVE because of him. I was on the verge of being homeless and losing my home . All because of of a employer lie which made me jobless. When all the doors were close . I always remember Jesus and Peter on the lake . Keep the faith and ye will calm the storms. I was able to take my employer to court and defended myself. With God as my witness I won the case . I am doing well a roof over my head , a good job and a car to get me to work . Their many bridges we must cross but God will always be with us on the other side. Thank you Jesus

Jesus Christ reigns forever! I’m a teenager living in this pandemic and I was going through a really rough time a little bit ago even when I thought I had Jesus. I’ve been a Christian for a few years but I never really payed much attention to him. My life stayed the same because of what I was doing wrong, he’s only ever helped me. So much has changed now, I’m happier than I was before now that I really have Christ. I learned that if I just listen to him and TRUST him, then he will make everything better. Praise God for his mercy!
I was in a healing meeting but I didn’t mention that I was suffering from sciatica. I saw others who were way worse off so I didn’t even pray about myself because I could still get my work done. As the lady was praying for others, she was saying “someone who has a neck problem or stomach problem, etc”. She didn’t mention my problem. But suddenly I felt healing coming from the bottom of my pain all the way up !! The best way to describe was like God was using a white eraser sponge and erasing the problem and it’s pain. I ran up and asked to testify of my healing at ty😂 mic. The lady looked shocked like “we didn’t say your problem”. All the audience and even my mom didn’t really react but I sing and shout praises to Jesus !!! I’ve never had it since.
I once prayed to god what I am on this earth for..I went to sleep that night not knowing what was about to happen that would change my life forever..I had a dream that God gave me a weapon and said, "Here, save them."

Man is wicked. Man never seeks after God but makes gods or makes himself his own God. Man blasphemes God's name every day. Man dishonors his parents and disrespects his elders and his authorities. Man hates and man murders. Man lusts, and man loves sexual immorality. Man covets unrighteously, and man steals. Man lies, and man is hypocritical. God will be just to punish those who love wickedness with eternal condemnation.
But God loves the world so much that he doesn't want it to perish. He sent his only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, to take the punishment for the sins of the whole world. The believer should get baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as Jesus commanded that we should do, and this is a commitment to submerge himself into the doctrines and persons of God. The believer can then rejoice that when God resurrects everyone from the dead to be judged, he will be counted righteous and have eternal life in the kingdom of God, to behold the infinite glory of God and to glorify him in everything in peace, joy, and righteousness in the Holy Spirit for ever and ever, amen.
I would tell you to go to a good church, but in these times, it might not be the safest thing. You can watch an online church service though (like Global Vision Bible Church in Tennessee. Look them up on facebook). Continue in the word of God and prayer. Store up a treasure in Heaven, that your heart might be in Heaven, for your treasure is where your heart is at (Matthew 6:19-21).

I was listening to this song in the shower the other day and I started crying. The song is so true and I think we as a people don't pay full attention to it when our minds aren't focused on it and just enjoying the song in full and taking it all in. I love to sing along to songs, but in the car or whenever I always get distracted and it takes me a vulnerable moment to realize exactly what I'm singing about and how true it really is.

My father past last on this day. He accepted Christ a few days before he passed and I remember heading to hospital after I got the call. As I got into my car this song came I felt the reassurances that he was with God in glory. AMEN AMEN
This song really touches my heart. A few years ago I had a stroke and was in a coma and apparently had a lot of things going wrong with me. The doctors had no clue if I would wake up and if I did , they didn't know what to expect. But by Gods grace I woke up with my mind fully functional, I had to learn to eat again, walk again, talk again even learn to breathe on my own again. And now today I sit here with only a limp in my left leg when I walk and I can't stand up for long periods of times. But I am alive, and I am alive because He Lives. I only found this song by "accident" a couple of months ago, and it just really fits me. Thank you Heavenly Father for always loving us, each and every one.

Yes, and this God has shown himself in three Divine persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I actually have an entire chapter in a book I wrote about it. Since I don't feel like quoting Bible verses non-stop, because I think verse slinging is a terrible way to debate, let's just check one verse, shall we? Phillipians 2:6 makes it explicitly clear, that Jesus is God. I went back and I checked the Greek.
In the comment section I read so many stories of love. The story I will share is that when I was young I went through severe depression. I told no one. I thought no one cared. That day it was raining and I went outside I swear I felt the Lord stronger then I ever did in my heart. I sang songs spontaneously cried tears of joy. Signs were around me as well. Through the dark clouds I saw a light shining at me and I swear I saw the Lord my savior at that moment. Every significant word I cried a thunder roared I bless and think of that moment every day and am glad to be blessed with this
