Thank you! There is little difference between Sweden and Germany when it comes to bells. Normally it is usually around 2 to 3 bells in small churches in Sweden, but in cathedrals it´s around 4 to 5 bells. The largest bell in Sweden is "Storan" in Uppsala cathedral with a weight of around 7000 kg. Sweden does not have the same size of bells like Germany have in Köln for example - but some bells in Sweden (and Germany..) is very beautiful! It´s very interesting to listen to bells around the world! Here ypu have a link to some bells from a cathedral in Sweden th-cam.com/video/v_gqGsMKdLc/w-d-xo.html
I live in northern Germany and here ot is almost the same as in Sweden. Small churches (in villages) have 1 to 3 bells, cathedrals (in Lower Saxony) 4-13 bells. Of course there are some exceptions but I think this is the case everywhere. So, I'm a big fan of old bells and Sweden has old bells almost in every church! In my region there are some old bells, but they are rare. And I love oblique tone sequences like quarts, quints or tritones and in Sweden there are many of them! Here is a link to the bells of my home church with a bell cast in the 12. century: th-cam.com/video/ieLXG-pkS44/w-d-xo.html
Thank you! It´s the big bell in Kaga church. It´s a church outside Linköping in Sweden. Cast during the 12th century and weighs around 815 kg. Some information about the church: www.svenskakyrkan.se/karna/kaga-kyrka
