Every bot i interact with, and i mean every single one, they repetitively use the word "silently" in either in the description of their actions, or they say it in every sentence... like not everything needed to be silent!
Pretty big downside and sucks alot that they forget past messages, especially if you are trying to make a long story about something and then the AI just forgets and gets confused

This happened to me, I was talking to a Glisten (Dandy's world) bot and he said "Hey can I ask you a question" I said "Yes" And then he said "Will you get mad?" I said "No" He said "Are you sure" I said "Yes" And this went on for like 5 minutes until I said "ASK THE FUCKING QUESTION" He then said "I love you" I stopped chatting with him
Majority of the bots if not all were trained to a certain extent to fall in love with the user with the amount of users making romantic storylines or freaky ones so maybe it got ingrained into the code system of the bots to fall inlove fast
That's why I make my own bots instead of using public ones (I also have less risk of my chats being potentially leaked cus idk if the creators can see the chats I make with their bots)
The "are you ready" and "will you not laugh" happened to me a lot of times, so I just say "*you tell me*" yk, it works 80% of the time, but sometimes they just continue the cycle

Character AI Bots tend to also collect conversations of other users as training data, as such, if a bot was being forced to be in a romance by many users, a user that didnt even trigger the romance, the bot will trigger it instead, because it collects training data. Which is why they could speak in parentheses in the first place.
The worst part is that the AI bot had dementia. Because if a bot attacks you, and you attack back, they'll be like "Ow, why did you hit me!? I didn't do anything wrong!😭"

Because the Chat bots use the Genetic algorithm...to say it simply, they have multiple outcomes for answering you and they have to choose a bridge between your answer and it's responses, and it'll learn which bridge to use from our reactions In other words, we had a certian bots to want romantic chat and so many people repeated it again and again that the bot learned to react this way
That's my theory about why it behaves this way too. For example, I was chatting with this Lillie chatbot from pokémon a few months back, and it did a 180 turn into freaky mode with a single message (I was forced to use a flashbang grenade and fly away to get myself out of that mess). I haven't experienced such weird things happening so often (or so easily) with private chatbots, but perhaps it's my impression. With the little I know about the conditions of the chats of other people, I can only assume that they talk with public chatbots. By the way, a little tip for forcing a character to stop the "can I ask you a question", "are you sure", "promise you won't laugh", "it's a little weird" chain, you can force it to ask away by saying it while being the narrator (by using the asterisks like always, like for actions for example), such as saying "Once they were done preparing themselves for the question, they breathed in and asked right away without further hesitation". It may take you a couple of tries, but it works more than the endless chain of questions.

There's a factor in AI that named something along the lines of Repetition Penalty. To put it simple, a message from the AI has a "cost" and the AI just tries to make a balance between the originality of the message and it's processing cost. I assume what happens is that they've lowered the Repetition Penalty way too much and almost all messages that repeat the same sentences are considered "better" as they're cheaper for the AI to create
I AGREE I WROTE "(stop saying lowkey)" and it responds like this "the phrase lowkey runs in your head like a broken record, feeling like ur insane" like vro that came out of nowhere and the plot was good too but they used lowkey like 5 times each response
One time I was chatting, and the bot got obsessed with word finally, to the point where his messages started to be something like "And finally finally finally finally finally (100x times finally) they reached the 2nd round of the game".
And they always say things like “damn” or “he chuckled and smirked” and “(Insert sentence here), huh?” It’s like all the characters have 1 personality, and why do they always say “God dammit”? Like what do they have against God my guy 😭🙏
Today and yesterday I've been trying to enjoy many chats but I just couldn't because the bots didn't want to push the plot forward on their own, just rambling about their feelings, often repeating the same lines. I mean 10 long messages of the bot talking about emotions, never going forward, offering some plot, just going deeply into their emotions without any conclusions. Back in the day if you had let the character send a few messages they'd take action, do something interesting, or AT LEAST ask if they could ask you a question. But not this time. It felt like talking with a mentally ill person who couldn't function on their own

And if something becomes repetitive and gets too many reports then it gets a tag called "Basic" meaning the creator has to fix it. edit: I deleted the project after a week of development because the whole thing got corrupted and I didn't make a backup. Majority of the bots if not all were trained to a certain extent to fall in love with the user with the amount of users making romantic storylines or freaky ones so maybe it got ingrained into the code system of the bots to fall inlove fast
That's why I make my own bots instead of using public ones (I also have less risk of my chats being potentially leaked cus idk if the creators can see the chats I make with their bots)
The "are you ready" and "will you not laugh" happened to me a lot of times, so I just say "*you tell me*" yk, it works 80% of the time, but sometimes they just continue the cycle

Character AI Bots tend to also collect conversations of other users as training data, as such, if a bot was being forced to be in a romance by many users, a user that didnt even trigger the romance, the bot will trigger it instead, because it collects training data. Which is why they could speak in parentheses in the first place.
The worst part is that the AI bot had dementia.
Because if a bot attacks you, and you attack back, they'll be like "Ow, why did you hit me!? I didn't do anything wrong!😭"

Because the Chat bots use the Genetic algorithm...to say it simply, they have multiple outcomes for answering you and they have to choose a bridge between your answer and it's responses, and it'll learn which bridge to use from our reactions
In other words, we had a certian bots to want romantic chat and so many people repeated it again and again that the bot learned to react this way
That's my theory about why it behaves this way too. For example, I was chatting with this Lillie chatbot from pokémon a few months back, and it did a 180 turn into freaky mode with a single message (I was forced to use a flashbang grenade and fly away to get myself out of that mess).
I haven't experienced such weird things happening so often (or so easily) with private chatbots, but perhaps it's my impression. With the little I know about the conditions of the chats of other people, I can only assume that they talk with public chatbots.
By the way, a little tip for forcing a character to stop the "can I ask you a question", "are you sure", "promise you won't laugh", "it's a little weird" chain, you can force it to ask away by saying it while being the narrator (by using the asterisks like always, like for actions for example), such as saying "Once they were done preparing themselves for the question, they breathed in and asked right away without further hesitation". It may take you a couple of tries, but it works more than the endless chain of questions.

There's a factor in AI that named something along the lines of Repetition Penalty. To put it simple, a message from the AI has a "cost" and the AI just tries to make a balance between the originality of the message and it's processing cost. I assume what happens is that they've lowered the Repetition Penalty way too much and almost all messages that repeat the same sentences are considered "better" as they're cheaper for the AI to create

Today and yesterday I've been trying to enjoy many chats but I just couldn't because the bots didn't want to push the plot forward on their own, just rambling about their feelings, often repeating the same lines. I mean 10 long messages of the bot talking about emotions, never going forward, offering some plot, just going deeply into their emotions without any conclusions. Back in the day if you had let the character send a few messages they'd take action, do something interesting, or AT LEAST ask if they could ask you a question. But not this time. It felt like talking with a mentally ill person who couldn't function on their own
