Apart from the few ripoffs of Wright's light fixtures, this looks terrible. And not because it is in ruins. The overall design, and interior details are atrocious.
No before photos? Why are they filming by flashlight? Who owns the property? Dates? Was it ever completed and/or occupied? Any registered plans or building permits? No magazine coverage or articles? Any Wright Foundation historical/archival documents? Nothing.......? Weird.......
Keep in mind any property in FL not air conditioned will mold up quickly even without water intrusion which of course there is usually water intrusion. Unfortunately so many unscrupulous Flippers in FL will paint over mold and buy some shiny new SS appliances etc and make the homes APPEAR in good condition and then unsuspecting buyers or renters will move in and later become very ill due to toxic mold. Anyone buying a home in FL would have to be fucking stupid to not do a full professional mold inspection. Carpet and indoor pools are a bad idea in FL. When I see these kind of videos I always wonder how incredibly ill (or dead) one would be if you fell into a pool in this condition. I hope all you explorers out there wear protective gear and this includes booties because you don't want to bring any mold or mycotoxins back home. Toxic mold is no joke.
it's not happening this year or next, 2022 or when the owner passes ?? ..permission was granted for a clubhouse and a few houses, the trucks turned up and dug an access road to and around the 'pond', but somehow someone pulled the plug last minute... a sinkhole maybe, but surely the assessors should know if they're likely ?
A woman had inherited it and left it there to rot, and rot it has. She refused to sell it. However she has sold the house and the new owners are cleaning it up and trying to make it back into a showplace home like it was built to be.

Karl K its crazy that you mention that because I know what you mean. I subscribe to Urban Ghost Urban Exploration on TH-cam and I think it was in their first video they did there they did find jewelry in the top little drawer in the safe but they left it. I think it was filmed months before this one was filmed and who knows how many people had gone through it already.
It was in the second drawer. Looked like dangle earings. Maybe who ever brought the dog food took the jewelry.
I was there before them...& posted on January 20, 2017 ...they posted Feb 16th, 2017...I assure you, that nothing was in the safe...click bait for views...same reason why I just went once and they keep needing to go multiple times to the same locations on their videos...
Weird.......
you must improve your camera technique because we are staring at close ups of the walls and closets most of the time
Criticize much
Its haunted by the devil people got pushed and scratched
The guy name bobby lived there he died of cancer sad
+nicolaxoxo1 I agree...always have respiratory protection and adequate gear for the exploring environment...important to know your surroundings...
They're turning it into a country club
Thecuriousmind2 sad id have restored the place and let them keep most of the land !
Really?? And when is this supposed laced supposed to start begin?
it's not happening this year or next, 2022 or when the owner passes ?? ..permission was granted for a clubhouse and a few houses, the trucks turned up and dug an access road to and around the 'pond', but somehow someone pulled the plug last minute... a sinkhole maybe, but surely the assessors should know if they're likely ?
A very beautiful place. So much detail. But it would be nice to know why it was left abandoned for not being that old.
A woman had inherited it and left it there to rot, and rot it has. She refused to sell it. However she has sold the house and the new owners are cleaning it up and trying to make it back into a showplace home like it was built to be.
So sad to see a Frank Lloyd Wright house abandoned like that 😟
Glyn Parker: It's not FLW. He had been dead years when this house was designed and built.
I would love to know this location find the owner and see if it's on the market that house is in excellent condition I would love to buy and the size of land that goes with it hopefully it did not become a zone C I have seen that area changes from residential to commercial
Was there a red squared tile with his initials anywhere near the entrance?
Didn't notice the tile, but there was also an extensive amount of vandalism and decay on the property
If you have the time, try to go back and look for that tile, it should have his initials. All of his works have this red tile. If you end up finding the tile, I would say to take photos of it and immediately contact the Historic Commission of Florida and/or the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation before more damage is done
It should be a bright, inorganic red which would stand out from the entire brick aesthetic.
@@MrKrazzy6 It's a Nils Schweitzer home, his history with Frank Lloyd Wright was as a student to him...this house is in Bartow, Fl
In case anyone is interested, try the address, 'FLW Pl, Bartow, Florida' on google maps...right next to 'Bartow Water Treatment'
This house doesn't even resemble a Frank Lloyd Wright house, not even inspired by him!
did you get scratched at all while you were bere did anything weird happen
Nothing happens there
I heard several evp throughout your walk
always see some kind of activity (paranormal) in the kitchen and around the fireplace area, I wish someone would get rid of those decaying cans = 7:56 its not like they add ambiance
this cameraman's style makes me dizzy. Nice old house great designs not so much luxury
I'm happy to see you got there before it was destroyed by kids breaking all the windows and spray painting obscenities all over the walls.
Get a hold of the ugue joe and rob they will tell you about this place. The guy dont want to sell it someone wanted to buy it. Hes just going to let it decay. How sad.
Did you see the sign on the back pourch when you went???
+MoviesToday66 The sticker on the window?
Urbex...Beyond the Entry yes that one
+MoviesToday66 Yep
Urbex...Beyond the Entry Is the alarm active?
+MoviesToday66 It was an old company sticker from years ago...no power in home...
GOD BLESS AMERICA so many homes so many left abandoned...
such a shame, these places should get restored.
they should sell or restore it
Where is this house located
Bartow, Fl
SAVE THIS HOME AND DONT UPDATE ONLY RESTORE TO ORIGINAL ONLY
Why has there been somany murders at places hes built
Not a cockroach....as someone stipulated. A Palmetto Bug....essentially a huge "flying roach"...very aggressive and hard to kill. Try swatting the SOB and it'll fly right at your face. Hate them....like I hate all vermin. Scariest thing about this video....aside from the haunting music. Its the kind of tune you listen to while contemplating a loaded revolver or a vial of pills with a Jack Daniels chaser!
To me a cockroach and a palmetto bug are about the same, both are gross.
How sad, it's an absolute sin this should have been allowed to deteriorate .
See ... Frank Lloyd Wright Tour... On TH-cam is that the same house ?!?! ( hard to tell because you are filming so close up of bedrooms, closets and bathrooms) Looks like it WHAT HAPPENED? OVER HOW LONG?
this house has no characteristics of a Frank Lloyd Wright home...
Where are all the secret rooms people talk about not seen one. x
+Lynn Fairhurst no secret rooms...just a normal home...I've been through the whole property and there is none....
Thank you for clearing that up for me, I watched an urban ghosts one and they keep talking about secret rooms, it's a shame so many of these homes are left to rot like this, really enjoyed your video on this house. X
+Lynn Fairhurst you're welcome...a lot of videos do that for views...not true, but a click bait deal to get viewers
This place must have been abandoned since the 70's what a waste...
You have to pray for gods protection before entering and exiting the premisis. You have to tell it in jesus name to stay there they not allowed to follow and attach to to you and your camera in jesus name.
This house is hountad!
Yes very haunted
O goood lord
This house is haunted and you can here laughing on camera at 10:24
This is such a sad waste - it's crimnal.
This is a treasure. Even though it was designed by an apprentice of Franks it is a national treasure. It should be restored. Let a art school come in and volunteer to restore. American people are lazy and too self occupied.
It is in pretty good shape inside.
laurie warner my father built several in Illinois and I while on college breaks would help. I would love to get my hands on this and give it the respect and rebirth it deserves. Now if only I had a million to spare.
laurie warner wow not all American people are lazy speak for yourself
Definitely designed by a student of Wrights... Not an original Wright design.
heartbreaking to see this icon of architecture in such despair.....who is the owner for petesake! what a shame
That place is haunted at night the devil
Aww hell no I hate roaches
What a shame.
Home is extremely haunted
Not Wright!!!!
That is a frank Lloyd designe for sure but on a very tight budget and build by cowboys.? The pointing is criminal..
