Is breá liom Kneecap! I had never heard of Pop-up Gaeltacht's but i'm glad to hear they happen! And glad to see people of all ages at them. Channels like this and artists like Kneecap are what broaden the language to all!
I saw their movie! It finally came to the states, and it was absolutely amazing! I actually discovered Kneecap through a video documentary. I haven't been able to find the video again but I remember them interviewing Kneecap. Since I listen to so many different great Irish bands I thought I'd give them a listen and I ended up loving their music. I'm an American of Irish decent on both sides of my family. I don't speak Gaeilge nor do any of my immediate family, but I hope that one day I will be the first to learn so I can pass it onto the future generation and keep our culture alive in America.
I love your videos and I’m a new Kneecap fan as well! I live in Florida and recently heard of them from my beginners Irish class teacher. I love every opportunity to hear the language since I don’t have the opportunity in person. Go raibh maith agat 💚
Just curious if you have a playlist that has your videos in sequence from first to last to make it easier to progress. I live in the US but am of Irish decent and want to learn this language. Obviously it would just be a hobby but anything that will help me follow your lessons would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Eyy! Bhí muid ansin! Bhí an cheolchoirm ar dóigh! Bhí mé beagán ar meisce 😅, ach bhí sé iontach bualadh leat! It makes me happy that you're a kneecap fan! Tiocfaidh ar lá!
I'm Spanish and dont have any roots of Irish ancentry but i love Ireland and their culture and i found about Kneecap when i asked myself if there was someone who dared to make rap songs in Irish, might not understand a thing but they have bangers
Bhí siad i Seattle freisin! Cheannaigh mé ticéid le mo chara agus chuamar le chéile aréir, bhí siad go hiontach!! Is breá liom cearta agus amach anocht. Táimid ag tosú popup Gaeltacht anseo go luath mar tá go leor Éireannaigh inár gceantar

maith thú! Tá mé chomh sásta é sin a chluinstin, tá níos mó de dhíth ar an chósta thoir :) inis domh nuair atá níos mó eolais agat
They're from Belfast, so yes, Kneecap is a very specific reference to a punishment that used to be doled out by paramilitaries in the north of Ireland for taking drugs or 'antisocial behaviour'
Dia duit Go raibh maith agat as na hainmneacha Gaeilge mar go bhfuil mo chairde go léir ó thíortha éagsúla agus tá mé ag fanacht i SAM agus tá deacracht ag mo chairde m'ainm agus ainm mo dheirfiúracha a fhuaimniú mar sin go raibh maith agat as an bhfíseán seo

Kneecap’s new album Fine Art is absolute class. Can’t wait to see their film, too!

Go ndéana a mhaith duit :)
Using these to study for my Irish junior cert, weirdly it works well because i pick up on new vocab and casual conversation!!❤❤
Go hiontach!
I love listening to their music and trying to pick out all the gaeilge focal that I can recognize 💚
I just discovered Kneecap! This video is great! you're do amazing, you really inspire me to practice again. I only know Eng and French.
It’s a bit sad that I grew up in Belfast and Kneecap was the first time I had ever heard Irish outside of someone saying “Tiocfaidh ar la”.

I didn't catch where you saw this concert? I saw Kneecap in Toronto last week, in Dublin in December, and in Colorado in October.
New York :) that's class!
Kneecap great band.
Bhí am iontach agat! Ní maith liom an ceol sin ach bhain mé sult as an físeán seo. 😆 Tá an teanga beo 👍

I really like your vídeos,
Best wishes from São Paulo 🇧🇷
Looks like a lovely time! Saw em last week and it was great -- we actually discussed DJ Próvaí's hugging skills on the way home lol.
😂 a hug to remember
Haigh a Molly! Is físeán iontach é seo agus is breá liom Kneecap freisin. Maith-thú! 😊 Grá ó Éirinn. 💚
Stíl gruaige nua!
Go hiontach 💚
Is réalta í Penny. Tá mé chomh sasta go raibh tú in ann dul agus gur bhain tú sult as. :)
Slante😊
🦵👍
tá éad orm anois😂 agus is breá liom kneecap a fheiceáil am éigin
Is mhaith loim do briste a'hara..
Grma 🥰
Is kneecap a reference to a violent act? Genuinely puzzled, because it has some sinister connotations of a dastardly act of violence
They're from Belfast, so yes, Kneecap is a very specific reference to a punishment that used to be doled out by paramilitaries in the north of Ireland for taking drugs or 'antisocial behaviour'
Have a day off
I can't support acts of violence so I will remove this video from my feed

Na déan dearmad go bhfuil tú sa ghrianghraf le MO chara Pat ó Bhostún
Go iontach A Molly. Is breá liom an fhíseán seo. Bhí cuma mad ar an gceolchoirm.
Gan dabht 😂
Maith thú a Molly. Bhuail tú le mo chairde ag an gceolchoirm. Tá sé greannmhar iad a fheiceáil san fhísean seo
caithfidh Gaeilgeoirí Nua-Eabhrac agus Bostúin teacht le chéile!
