Finished in 4th place in the toughest BGT so far. He should be proud of himself. His material is funny and giving each puppet a great character. This year's show is just epic.
I had the pleasure of hosting an event in Aberdeen last night (March 2023) and Steve was there... he was absolutely amazing!! He is making a good career out of his act and thoroughly deserves it.

I'm sure the truth is that Jeff Dunham isn't the first to use the overly dramatic throwing back the dummy's head to represent laughs, but I definitely thought the same when I saw this.

I'm American and I enjoy British humor very much. Benny Hill was one of my favorites!! I also love British movies as well. I just get it and I'm glad I do. I absolutely love Steve Hewlett!! I agree with George Taylor, humor without swearing is rare in America these days.
I suspect that he may be helped by the accent a bit, but I don't mean that to in any way take away from his talent -- I wouldn't be qualified to criticize hist mechanics to begin with. Definitely agree, though... His control and suspension of disbelief are phenomenal.

We have met steve while on holiday and he is such a lovely guy who deserves great success, really think he should of won last year. he is touring at local theatres around the country this summer, so book your tickets now, i am sure it will be a great show.
This performer choose the right approach after getting the wild card: You can screw up big time and proof you don't belong in this show or you grab your chance and rock-he did!
That's what this show needs, a bit of comedy to lighten the mood & make people laugh! I'd reckon Steve Hewlett here could give Jeff Dunham a run for his money! Would be fun to see Arthur & Walter doing a comedy act together!

Well, I do know he used to be involved with that hideous sounding (mixed) chick on *Extra!* She sounds like an old crone with her scratchy voice but she's certainly not that dark as that puppet so it must be some other Black woman...lol
British people aren't very humorous. I mean, yea David Williams can be funny, but the guests on this show hardly ever make me laugh. The stand-up comedians are the worst
