I attempted Terraria's hardest Skyblock.

Welcome to Terra Caelum, the spiritual successor of Minecraft's Skyblock in Terraria! Every single block is gone, aside from the very few that form the main island and the Lihzahrd Altar deep in the underground. But, as of Journey's End update, even this barren start seems to be capable of going as far as defeating Moon Lord.

Terra Caelum's the "most popular" skyblock because of CrabBar's coverage, but the thing that makes it the hardest is just that it's actually impossible to complete. Remember that altar setup? It doesn't spawn Lihzahrds. Flying Snakes and Lihzahrds both need actual Lihzahrd bricks to spawn on.
If you want the hardest completable skyblock, 2 mud blocks and a Lihzahrd Brick a bit below the space layer with an altar on top of them and a Lihzahrd Brick Wall off-screen. This one gives you serious problems even in getting your initial blocks and doesn't give you fishing access at any point, as well as forcing you to fight Plantera while enraged, but it is the strict minimum possible for a glitchless skyblock that can beat Moon Lord. ...I don't advise actually trying this, though, unless you're really willing to commit to the entire game with 100 HP and no wood/furnace. Even Porky eventually used glitches to get fishing access and other stuff when he was doing his one block run, though that was also because he had to glitch in the mud/Lihzahrd Brick/altar he didn't have.
Jungle will spread several times faster along 2 thick mud bridges. Also, you don't have to start with mud or jungle grass in 1.4.4! This is one of the places where Terra Caelum's just outdated nowadays. You can plant evil seeds in mud and use purification powder on them to get jungle grass just fine after you beat EoC or Skeletron. Between early jungle and starting you with a free tree and even fishing access, Terra Caelum has a fairly easy earlygame in return for a harder lategame compared to most skyblocks thanks to no stone/sand.

There is no possible way to get stone or sand. And as for the corrupted biome, I have corruption seeds which I got from EoC.
