  • Picked one of these Dewalt Shear Attachment from Amazon and did some testing. This thing rocks. Tested with multiple different brands to see how it worked with dewalt, Milwaukee and Makita. I was actually really surprised how well it worked. See the tool in action!
    Purchase from amazon at amzn.to/2S3XNFF
    If you are considering buy, just do yourself a favor and pick them up, you won't be disappointed! Cut super fast and really light weight!
    It didn’t fit great on the Makita, but both the dewalt impact/drill as well as the Milwaukee fit great. At first I wasn’t able to move the mounting arm enough to be able to mount anywhere but the battery on the M18, but once I loosened it up, I was able to get a good mount on the tool itself. As pictured in the thumbnail.

    that why you’re able to rotate the shears (when battery is getting caught on the metal) the benefit of this tool over the malco tool is you can cut with one hand instead of two hands as required with malco. anyways. Good review.

    good video mate. been using these for about 4 yrs now. Use to run the malco turbo shears until they changed there head design, then swapped to the dewalt. speed is the key with these so the faster rpm the better u cut. i run it with the dewalt impact driver as nice in the hand and i use it with the driver upside down. highly recommend these for a cost effective metal shear.

  • @machfiver753
    @machfiver753 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Ok so now a serious comment/question.
    I noticed from the link you pinned something that I didn't pick up on from your video and that may limit the types of tools that it can attach to. The "universal" brace looks like it will only work with cordless tools that have a flat type battery pack or a grip with a lump at the bottom for the brace to wedge onto. Any tool without that like a corded drill would have nothing for the brace to wedge into and therefore wouldn't brace. I guess you could technically attach a clamp of some kind to the base of the handle to take the place of the battery pack. Also I am not sure that I would be comfortable with the brace putting pressure onto the battery pack over time it seems that it would be damaging to the tool. Maybe this isn't a problem for the home gamer market where its use would be intermittent in most cases. It doesn't seem likely that it would be something used by a business or in an industrial setting.
    With the above in mind could a clamp or similar be used to effectively hold the brace in the same way that it functions when used with a cordless tool?

    I would think that if you used a rotary hammer type of drill, geared drive drill, or a dugga dugga air gun to power the attachment it would only be limited by the gap between the cutters as to what it would cut through (material depending)
