      There is no char in dart. Only string, num, int, double and boolean as shown in video

    Also You Can Use Both Single & Double Quotes In Single Statement - For Example
    String s4 = "It's \"Too\" Much Easy";
    print(s4);
    // Output = It's "Too" Much Easy

    I have one question sir and I wish you reply..
    I have zero experience in programming but I do want to make Android apps and I started to learn dart from this course so is this course going to make me learn everything about dart ? Or am I missing something? And thank you for the effort and excuse me my English isn't that good

    • @SinghsDuOs
      @SinghsDuOs 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      you can learn dart and then flutter and then you are ready for any app becoz flutter is cross platform where your same code of your app run in android, ios, windows,mac,linux and in web also.

      I would suggest you to get some programming experience in a language like python or java. There are plenty of free online sources and good books for beginners if you're willing to learn and dedicate time to it. Even though this course has a nice and simple explanation, it is for people who have programmed in some language before.
      Another important point to remember is that programming languages are defined by the purpose they are built to serve. Languages like python, java, c++ etc are general purpose languages but they have their own best uses in the industry. Java for web servers and software development(mobile, desktop), c++ for high performance applications, system programming(OS), and python for web, automation and data science, as well as a good glue language. So identify what you wanna do, look up some trending technologies and languages in that field and get started.
      Programming is usually less about languages and more about problem solving. When you learn a language, you will come across core concepts like data structures and algorithms, which are the bread and butter of computer science. Most of the times you won't be using the said structures and algorithms manually, you will find that the libraries, frameworks you use are built using these indespensible core concepts of computer science.
      Good luck in your journey!

      Also, flutter is not the only way to develop android apps, although it is the easiest alternative as of now. Traditionally, android apps have been built with java, and in recent years Kotlin came up as the successor to java for android dev. Although flutter is fairly new, it is more easy to get into, and will only grow stronger in the coming years. Also given the fact that flutter basically allows you to write apps for Android AND iOS by leveraging the same code, this is gonna be the choice for many developers who wish to launch their apps on both platforms without the hassle of maintaining two separate code bases.
      Keep in mind that when it comes to legacy apps and large organisations like Google and Uber, they still use java/kotlin and swift for their apps, because these languages provide more performance over apps built with dart and simply rewriting their apps in dart is not an economically viable option. Its always a trade off between ease of use, flexibility and performance.

    What are the uses of Literals in a language? It seems like it is just a concept.

    • @xynyde0
      @xynyde0 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      literals are just the values that you use in expressions or store in variables. For eg: var hello = "Hello" ; here the "Hello" is a string literal stored in hello variable. similarly for int x = 5, '5' is the integer literal.
