I'm more than reasonably intelligent. I'm a facile and expert book editor who often must decipher an author's true meaning and translate it to articulate, unmuddled, relatable English. Even so, I find Neville annoyingly obtuse. "Why be simple and direct when you can be cryptic?" seems to have been his personal motto. I thank Neville for impressing us with the importance of "feeling," but I'll take Florence Scovel Shinn any day of the week over Goddard. Her aim was to communicate and help--simply and directly. Another annoying thing about Neville is that he's so sure that Jesus and Mary et al. are ONLY metaphorical and not corporeal. I think he may not have been as connected to Spirit as he believed he was. Furthermore, he croaked in 1972, and since then there have been finds and evidence that strongly suggest he was wrong.
I tell you he is the truth! I am in the act of experiencing. Logic and intellect have no place in spiritual things. Until you have the experience, you have no way of knowing. You can be the greatest story teller and or editor in this world and it means nothing. I tell you he is telling the truth. I testify to it and scripture is our, those who are in the act of experiencing, witness. If one is not in the act of experiencing, one is in the innocence stage. The 3 stages of man are innocence, experience, and imagination , which is God in 3 person...some may call it the trinity. Father. Son. Holy Spirit. Oh...no one dies. No one.
@@JeraTruthspeekherRebirth11 Wow, that was more than a mite sycophantic. And who said that I didn't believe in the everlasting soul? Honestly that's irrelevant to my comment. You did exactly what Neville does: made what should be simple complicated and obtuse. But thank you just the same for responding. At least you know you are a good student.
Think about it. An infinite Being impregnates a child not of the age of consent. What is that? It endangers her life and that of the child she bears. Her mother, father and family would have observed her pregnant or is this story simply a metaphor about the Divinity within you. The Ancient Kemetic or Egyptians tell this same story except her name was Ast/Isis and she wasn't a virgin. Impregnated by her dead husband Asar/Osiris. She gave birth to Heru/Horus. Look around- every where you see the phallic symbol of creation. No! Mary never existed neither did Ast/Isis. P.S.I did have the dream and the union. Not sure about the 30 years. We are responsible for cleaning up our own shadows. No one died for us. It's an inside job. You die to self - daily. Neville learned from the Hermetics which came out of Egypt/Kemet.
@@debratorres-reyes6822 I know about Hermes Trismegistus. No lessons in esoterica, please. Neville was smug about his pronouncements regarding things that not a one of us can be sure about. But back to my original point: He is obtuse. Period.
I love Neville's authentic sharing - he walked his talk. I respect that.
Great video e great talk, thank you for your lovely work.
