Sorry I don't understand why integral of e^(-x^2)dx is sqrt(pi) / 2, i thought it supposed to be erf(x) * sqrt(pi) / 2
integral of e^(-x^2)dx in the limits of -infinity to infinity is sqrt(pi), and in the limits of zero to infinity is sqrt(pi)/2. This is the Gaussian function, you can plot the graph and compute the area under it
