It's supposed to be like "Lavender Castle" if you remove the extra letters (a ton of people put emphasis on the VEN which sounds super weird to me!!) (yes it's an L not an i)
I was thinking of rebranding to a different name entirely, but that's too much effort and a lot of people would be confused sooooo... yeah. Also fun fact the name lavencas was kind of a placeholder until I thought of something that sounded better, but my channel exploded way faster than I would've ever imagined and by that point it was too late...
Name change might happen eventually... but I'm afraid of people not liking it lol (rn I'm torn between either laven or cas with a slight preference to cas)

Fun fact: Curse Rooms are one of the few rooms where seeing items does not guarantee they are removed from their item pool! I believe Libraries also fall into this category.

That explains the fake reroll in this video and my runs, somehow it always happes with guppy's paw
The reason angels are invisible for the first few seconds sometimes is because you took Broken Modem. The angels spawn animation has a few frames where the angel exists but can't be seen, and if broken modem's "pause an enemy" effect happens during that part of the animation, then the angel is stuck being invisible for a second or two.
Getting Wicked Crown 2 rooms away from the mom fight and still taking Polaroid is a certified Lavencas moment.

Hey Laven, I have a question
I’ve been using the neko lost mod for a while now and I’ve had the problem where it gives Lost’s normal face but keeps the ears on but I’m seeing you have the modded face, I’ve tried looking up on the mod’s comments and I’ve found nothing. Did you do something to fix that problem?
might be conflicting with another retexture mod?
@@Lavencas that might be the case, but idk which one it could be doing that with. I don’t have any other lost-related mods on apart from the heart tokens mod. I’ll just have to meticulously check which of my other retexture mods might be conflicting with it. I’ll try to see if that’s the solution, thanks!!
@@Lavencas just found out what was conflicting with the neko lost mod, it seems to be conflicting with the GMod death animation mod, thanks a lot for the help, I wouldn’t have figured this out if I didn’t ask LMAO

Btw if you didn’t know, dropping perfection with rock bottom keeps the luck allowing you to have a different trinket
Are you aware of how Rock Bottom works? It may keep the luck on the surface, but behind the scenes, 10 is still subtracted from the stat, meaning you'd ironically have to get extremely lucky to see a real increase after dropping the trinket.

Love your videos, been watching for days now! But I see you often complaining about the predictability of your runs, and today it hit me: you insist on dice/reroll runs. I mean, you got a curse of the tower + bombs exploding at your will combo (about 5:00 or so), which might not be the best, but is a cool synergy, and you left it at table because you had D Infinity. That’s prolly the best strategy, but something tells me you’re also here for the fun, not just for the grind 😄

if you picked up diplopia, and duplicated the d infinity you would have an extra charged roll
Why'd you hold on to the perfection after getting rock bottom?
Curse of the tower still sucks I think but it isn't as bad with lost as it is with other characters, considering you're gone if you get hit anyways. Also! Why do you keep going into curse rooms as tainted lost. It hurts to see and I can only imagine it typically hurts to do. Great video though
