Somebody put it perfectly about the plasma deck. The only thing that matters in it is getting big numbers. You should start with chips, because it's easier to get a 100 chips than 100 mult. But you later transition to mult because it's easier to get a 1000 mult than a 1000 chips

Remember everyone Chaos doesn't make your first reroll free, it makes your last reroll free. Eg reroll twice normally costs $11, but with Chaos you can reroll twice and it's only $5.

The thing that makes the plasma deck so easy is that it always gives you a higher score.
Without plasma: 20 * 80 = (50 - 30)(50 + 30) = 50² - 30²
With plasma: 50²
The thing that makes it harder though is that the blinds are higher to account for what you pointed out.

If he was on a different deck and got a joker that gained 4 mult per hand played, he'd lose his dang mind.
Yet when he sees square joker on Plasma deck, he completely bashes it and ignores it.
The man cannot fathom that big number = better on the plasma deck. It doesn't matter if its blue, doesn't matter if its red (until endless when you need x mult,) it all comes out in the wash as purple.

I don't get his problem with the plasma deck. Isn't it just way better than all the other decks? Just buff your mult as much as possible, and then when it balances it gets even better. Buff your chips if you need to survive.
It comes with the pretty massive downside of 2x base blind size. It's still very powerful even with that drawback, but it does mean that to survive you need to take advantage of the deck's strength, by maxing just chips or just mult. (I only ever focused on chips, and that was good enough for me to beat gold stake with it.)

People massively underrate mult on the plasma deck, chips are great early but getting some mult going towards the second half is how you make the deck pop off imo
Two whole rounds forgetting he just bought a joker that made all his cards face cards sent me.
I think the play for the plasma is a pivot back to mult once you get a mult-multer setup that gives more mult than the early game chip jokers you take to win fast early and get econ up, no? Cause a bigger number on either side will get optimized by the deck, so you just want the biggest possible number in either of the score boxes

It really depends on if you're just trying to win a run or go endless. Stacking chips with something like Bull is a really easy and reliable way to win ante 8 on any stake, might just get screwed by violet vessel but otherwise it's got enough gas to go the distance. Crazy perkeo plays can go a lot farther on plasma deck though than any other deck, you're just vulnerable at the time you pivot from chips to mult.
Edit: i wrote this comment before he started the second run, i had no idea.
You need like 1 good chip joker to carry you early and then you can just focus on making crazy mult

Please please please. Focus on chips for the first few Antes. Then switch to mult and xmult. The problem is you can't multiply chips so to get the top end score you need to do it through mult.

Its so awesome that he still doesn't get it that chips and mult are literally worth the exact same, provided you don't have an Xmult joker.
Chips aren't better than mult on Plasma deck, they're literally exactly the same. It's just that chips tend to come in far far bigger packages that makes chip enhancements and jokers better.
But him questioning if 50 chips (25x25) is better than 10 chips and 4 mult (7x7) is pretty wild lol
