In Pakistan, we've got people from all walks of life, and we're good friends. Whether it's at work or school, we make sure to respect each other's religious boundaries, be it Hindus, Christians, etc. It's important to remember that every community has a few individuals who don't follow the right path, but we can't stereotype the wrongdoings of a few people and attribute them to an entire religion.

Regrettably, there are individuals with harmful intentions worldwide, found in every country. It’s essential not to generalize an entire religion or sect as extremist due to the actions of a few. This video prompted me to share my experience, where I faced hate speech. Regardless of one’s religion, I believe no one should endure such negativity. Advocating for a better world involves raising awareness and speaking up against injustice, unless personal safety is compromised, as was the case in my situation, leading me to remain silent for my own well-being.

You know by "kill the disbelievers" in Qur'an it actually means kill the enemies in the battlefield? Why does the Qur'an call the enemies on a battle filed against Arabs disbelievers well it's because the Arabs were mostly fighting for religious regards which was common at the time being. So they called themselves the Muslims instead. So when the Qur'an is quoting the story of the great battles of the Muslim armies it refers to the enimes on the battlefield as non Muslims. I hope this clears the misunderstanding because people take verses from chapter eight of the Qur'an out of context and make hate speech against Islam. Because chapter eight of the Qur'an is completely based upon the stories of the great fierce battles throughout history. So if you take verses out of context from chapters like that then it is most likely obvious that it will look ugly.

The main reason for doing this is to educate people and contribute to making the world a better place to live in. I also considered reporting to the authorities, but without concrete evidence, it's tough to hold the wrongdoer accountable, especially when you're a minority facing someone cleverly committing a crime with no evidence to back it up.

It is mentioned nowhere in Qur'an about the number of virgins the Righteous will get.
But it is clearly stated repeatedly in Quran about the "We shall join them to Companions, with beautiful big and lustrous eyes"(houris).
Below are some of the verses from Qur'an:
    Quran 52:17-21:
As to the Righteous, they will be in Gardens, and in Happiness,- enjoying the (Bliss) which their Lord hath bestowed on them, and their Lord shall deliver them from the Penalty of the Fire. (To them will be said:) "Eat and drink ye, with profit and health, because of your (good) deeds." They will recline (with ease) on Thrones (of dignity) arranged in ranks; and We shall join them to Companions, with beautiful big and lustrous eyes. And those who believe and whose families follow them in Faith,- to them shall We join their families: Nor shall We deprive them (of the fruit) of aught of their works: (Yet) is each individual in pledge for his deeds.
Here is the verse which states that they are virgins(verse 56 & 74).
    Quran 55:
55: 46 : But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens-
55: 48: Containing all kinds (of trees and delights);-
    55:50: In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free);
55: 52: In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two.
55: 54: They will recline on Carpets, whose inner linings will be of rich brocade: the Fruit of the Gardens will be near (and easy of reach).
55: 56: In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;-
55: 58: Like unto Rubies and coral.
55: 62: And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,-
55: 64: Dark-green in colour (from plentiful watering).
55: 66: In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance:
55: 68: In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates:
55: 70: In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;-
55: 72: Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;-
55: 74: Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;-
55: 76: Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty.
Here is another mention of viginity:
    Quran 56:28-37:
(They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, Among Talh trees with flowers (or fruits) piled one above another,- In shade long-extended, By water flowing constantly, And fruit in abundance. Whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden, And on Thrones (of Dignity), raised high. We have created (their Companions) of special creation. And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - Beloved (by nature), equal in age,-
    Some other verses:
    Quran 78:33:
    And voluptuous women of equal age;
    Quran 37:48-49:
And with them shall be those who restrain the eyes, having beautiful eyes; As if they were eggs carefully protected.
Those who die for the just cause of Islam will surely be righteous and hence get their reward in heaven as virgins is not entirely an hoax.

In Islam, hoore refers to the beautiful, pure and eternal companions that are promised to believers in paradise. The term "72 hoore" is often used to refer to the number of these companions that will be granted to male believers in paradise. This concept is mentioned in various Islamic texts and is seen as a reward for those who have lived a righteous life on earth. The exact description of these companions is not specified in the Quran, but they are described as being pure and perfect in beauty.

Will I get Hoor in Jannah if I (being Hindu) get converted to Islam?
This is exactly the reason why many convert to
Islam ! Why you want to get into this delusion ?
First ask yourself whether you want to convert for the sake of Hoors in jannah or for spiritual pursuit ? Do you think God lures people on earth with Hoors so that they would sing peans to God ! The very purpose of following a religion is defeated when the pursuit is for gaining something to satisfy one's sensual lust. To understand the purpose of one's being is a big challenge in itself. Religion can be used as a tool for self realization and not as a means for acquiring materialistic and sensual obj

Where do the 72 virgins in Muslim ideology come from? Are they virgins who died in life?
The man who wrote such a message in the Quran knew how to motivate men to lead a good life on earth. He promised something that will motivate men for ever.
But in reality he wanted to say heaven is a place of joy. May be the carnal pleasure was something they valued a lot. So he is offering plenty of it in heaven!!

Who are the Hoor in Jannat?
Quran talks about hooris and says that we have created you a new creation. Some interpret it is, into a new creation.
In one of the strong authentic hadiths, an old woman approaches prophet and he says that old women won't enter jannah. She starts crying. Prophet then says, Yes old women won't enter jannah, but you will be re created to a young beautiful woman when you enter. Dont you know that Allah says in the quran we have created you a new creation? “
On the light of this hadith, most muslims believe that its the women of the world who are recreated as hooris in jannah.
    Again, there are some

USA has a lot of racists and Islamaphobic, minority racists. Just know the country had black slaves 150 years ago and that history still resonates.

The arab slave trade was appalling violence, castration, and rape. The men were systematically castrated to prevent them from having offspring. This inhumane practice resulted in 6 out of 10 men dying from their wounds.

@gunnercobra3553 yes. The Southern states had slaves and a total of 3 % of people had slaves in America ( which of course means that 97% did not )so let’s be honest slavery was bad and existed all through human history on every continent and done by all peoples until the British stopped it even having to invade part of Africa to stop some tribes from practicing slavery . Read history and you will learn quite a bit about many things that may surprise you .

I appreciate that you find it difficult to understand why you were spoken to in this way. However you should bear the following in mind.
You have lived most of you life in a Muslim country, in particular one that shows intolerance to its religious minorities. You have taken the social superiority you derive from your religion for granted. It will naturally come as a shock when you go to a country where people fail to respect you just because you are a Muslim.
However the man in question spoke to you in a very rude and aggressive way.
Again, having lived most of your life in Pakistan you will have been unaware of the poor reputation of Muslims, in particular from Pakistan and Afghanistan, which has preceded you. Muslims, especially from these countries, have difficulty in integrating and conforming to the core values of their host countries. They are frequently intolerant of the differences which they see around them and often react aggressively to perceived offences towards their religion or criticism of their poor behaviour. Unfortunately instead of taking responsibility they tend to excuse reactions to their poor behaviour by hiding behind 'islamophobia'.
What the gentleman said to you is indeed inexcusable but at the same time you need to be aware that host countries do not react well to immigrants who are just plain awkward.
I should add that you have just had this one negative reaction and possibly it may never happen again.
Try to observe how your fellow Muslims are behaving in the US through a critical lens. Is their behaviour reasonable and appropriate? See if you can set an example to them of how an upright Muslim ought to behave.
Whatever you don't be tempted by the culture of victimhood.

@@farrukhzeeshan It is interesting that your first reaction to my comment was playing victimhood. If you think and do good deeds, then what is the problem with reaping what you sow. But it will take a long time to unwire your brainwashed mind that is if you don't explode before then. Only converts have this attitude. Arab Muslims are decent people.

USA society is quite open minded and Muslim rarely face such threats. You should have immediately called the Police and had him arrested for hate crime. There is rule of law in America and no one should feel threatened on the basis of race, color, and religion. Every citizen has the right to worship any religion of their choosing in the USA. Totally get it; it's about finding the right moment to speak up, especially when it comes to my own safety. In the video, I explained how I was genuinely scared and unprepared for that situation. Opening up about it took a lot of courage, but the main reason is to educate people and work towards making the world a better place to live in. So that people may make the right decision and be prepared for it to happen.
