Excellent video, Mrs. Amanda, I congratulate you, I have learned a lot since I found your videos, go ahead and do it. Very good, it is very pleasant to see them and they are also very educational, I am happy. Nito from Weston Florida
Hi your channel has been a game changer, and I just found it one day ago! Is there more information on dealing with reflective product photography via Photoshop editing inside your course?
Not a silly question at all. The cone is really used for very minimally scenes, mostly e-comm. this won’t work for larger scenes. You’d need to use diffusion paper or softbox to deal with reflections 😊
I wonder if you could buy two big ones , or a smaller and big one and join them together at back n sides and semi or completely wrap them around for front on and overhead ?
It's great but why not just some semi-translucent paper/fabric that's big enough, if it's bigger you can build a tunnel on top of the product, or use 2-3 to put on both sides and maybe on top. Wouldn't it have similar results?
As usual, a great video! Would this cone adapter set up work with continuous lighting as well? I don’t have a flash lighting set up. I need to photograph basic shiny, round Christmas ornaments. Any suggestions? Thanks.
I just got the light cone right after I did a shoot for a jewlery company. they had some weird shapes and designs and this would have been a huge help to have then.
@@amandacampeanu it's really great and I feel bad because it feels so simple, I don't know why I never thought of making a little rolled cone out of diffusion paper

You are a genius!
Might be a silly question, but, what if you aren't shooting over head? Can you still use this? Or is there something else?

You could definitely do that too. That’s the beauty of photography. There are so many ways to do the same thing. There’s no right or wrong here 🙂

yeah it would be possible with continuous lighting, you'll just have to bump up your iso... just not too high otherwise you'll struggle with the noise
