that first photo at video's start is the SADDEST hYDRANGEA I've ever seen. In Canada in our temperate west coast you NEVER prune Hydrangea. My lady friend had a large tree sized planted in 1957 and I offered to yellow caution tape wrap it as the landscapers were coming She said 'they would know"......No, they didn't. Destroyed seventy years of growth. It will take "notanother" seventy to recover. Maybe in the deep south USA: depends on climate, soil, and your winter.
