  • Hello TH-cam!
Today's video we are looking at the modification of our Top Race TR143-G 9 channel RC bulldozer. Its basically a direct re-brand of the Huina CY1569 1:16 bulldozer. The standard bulldozer just cant get the traction on loose surfaces to adequately push material round. So today we are going to modify the tracks and add some much needed weight, to hopefully improve the dozer's performance. These almost free Mods Make A Huge Difference!

Great work. Nice improvements. I know they are just small models, but it is nice when they can perform somewhat similar to their full size version. 👍

Very nice job on this. Some really simple but effective mods you did here. I think Steve Shen did the track mod on his ripsaw tank. I like your idea of utilizing old windshield wiper bits! I think it worked very well. Great job on this Sir!

I have a WL excavator. I added lead to the inner track assembles.
But also hot glued bb’s in all the limited nooks & crannies of the upper housing.
    Big difference!!
    It’s almost 15lbs now
    and performs way better.
Off topic a bit, but I wouldn’t buy the WL again. It had massive cracks in the main stick out of the box! Really!
I had the seller send me new parts and they cracked in higher stressed areas!
I ended up making my own aluminum
gussets. Time consuming but no more problems.
Btw if your wondering what this 65yr old was doing with the machine. I would scoop dog food from one bowel to another. That’s all! After 30 or 40 battery cycles it hasn’t broke yet😁
