I just love him....both the actor and his character on Death in Paradise...they way he has the officers quaking in their boots ha ha. I also loved him in Rising Damp and he was really good on Strictly!
Thanks for uploading this. Don Warrington has been a British national treasure since forever and these days he really suits his role as Commissioner in Death in Paradise. I really liked Tahj Miles' character Marlon as well - and missed him when he left although I missed his "mentor" Dwayne Myers (Danny John Jules) more who I loved from his days in Red Dwarf. The British make the best TV IMHO! Happy Friday from an ex-pat Londoner living in Sydney, Oz. xxx

I just watched it on Britbox. Liked it. Surprisingly, the killer was particularly nasty. A lot worse than usual. Good movie though. As a mystery it was hard to solve as a watcher. There’s no way someone could have figured it out themselves until the reveal.
big flaw in plot--how could the real philip carlton never have had any relatives/friends who checked up on his whereabouts--how did he inherit a huge outfit as an impostor with no one realizing?!
Totally agree. The killer was so Unremorseful it was jarring. You killed a lost soul who seemed to be harmless for the money and felt you deserved it because of….whatever… nasty

Such a charming man. He has such a beautiful voice. Also in the greatest ever sitcom, rising damp. He really is a national treasure.

One of my favourite characters is the very knowing Catherine Characteress. T’way she addresses the Commissioner. Selwween😆
