Because they lost the first world war and had to go through a serious economic and political crisis which led to the fascists gaining support and taking power (like the Weimar Republic in our timeline)

I gave France a surprise attack and caught Germany off guard, but Germany had established a strong defense line on the Rhine and France could not get through.
In the North, Germany tried to block the French army and not let them enter Hamburg.
I got the perfect timeline if you want to make it. It’s also Germany wins WW1 but the United States joins the Central Powers

No, at that time I just wanted to finish it as quickly as possible because World War II took me a lot of time so I came up with the idea that Germany would lose the cold war to the United States.

The Soviet Union and the Japanese empire, but after World War II, became hostile and entered a cold war.
You can think of this as Soviet Union 2.0 but a little different.
