    Mike Vick had an even bigger impact in the whole of Virginia. Virginia outside Vick, Allen Iverson, Charles Haley is nowhere the prospect state like Florida or Cali or Texas. So watching him tear it up in Hampton/Newport then tear it up in Blacksburg at Tech (first and only time Tech made it to the national championship) was something else. He was the most talked about person in this state he was playing ball.

    Vick had a large impact on the field and the city. Honestly, he really helped out Atlanta in focus. When you think about people like that, Vick didn't have a great career but he's still discussed a ton for his impact.

      Vick had a great career... nearly 30,000 all-purpose yards + nearly 200 TDs. 1000-yard rushing season as a QB. Came back from the dog-fighting situation and had played some of his best ball. Influenced how the QB position is played and QBs today are a more refined version of him. Legitimately a HOFer based on his impact and output, but his off-field issues will likely keep him out. Will always be remembered because of his play-style.

      Michael Vick changed the game Madden Football and the NFL had a Phenomenal career

    • @cmj0ker
      @cmj0ker 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@kendallthomas6192 when I say great career, I mean I'm the definition of great players, we look at their awards and trophies. Vick was 4x Pro Bowl, comeback player of the year, and a Bert Bell award winner. Stats, he was sub 30k total yards, TD:INT < 2, passer rating of 80, and completion percentage under 60. He never made it to the SB and out 5 years with a winning record as a starter. So, as a number 1 pick with just his stats and accolades, he doesn't come close to the elite QBs.
      Impact is completely different, and while we normally think of then more impactful players being the best (i.e. Moss, who's the only other player I can think of that really changed the game during that time)....Vick was different. He changed the game and made people look at elite athletes playing QB. So I think he had a good career, but I would not say great even though he's probably one of these most influential NFL players ever.

But the Falcons not giving him a great & the dog fighting situation, we didn’t get to see it.

    Accurate lonnnggg deep ball, great going through his reciever progressions, awesome pocket awareness, his football IQ in general was second to none, his QB instincts forget about it, last but definitely not least, the most elusive, super fast, exceptionally quick and probably could have easily been used as a great slot receiver if need be. 😎💯
