@@doriank1345 think you may have solved the mystery. He "knows" he's good looking and how to use it, but it's something he was born with and not something he earned. So, he compensates by working twice as hard as others on his music and dance. Which he had to work hard to attain the level he dances at now. His singing voice is so unique. He over compensates for his good looks. Which only makes him that much more special. Good looks go away, but talent stays forever.
Also, why he looks "mysterious" and nervous when he gets complements. Plus, he's not into the "skinships", he's different in such a good way. Just more reasons to love him as a person.

I think it might cause insecurities to be constantly referred to as the 'visual' of the group. And the repetitiveness of how often people focus only on his looks. Yes, he is handsome, but there is so much more to him. People, especially interviewers, should focus on that. The public should appreciate him for his other features, and not just his looks.
