Something makes me think it's based on the same KLK platform that the crappy Advanced Global Elevators at Roma Street Parkland is based on, given the somewhat similar external indicator and non-compliant "In event of fire do not use lift" text.

This indicator type and general behaviour all but confirm the lift as running Monarch Controls logic. I do agree, though - they both behave very similarly… probably because both types of controllers come from Asia?

Very interesting that they have two lifts from two different manufacturers. I wonder if this lift is a replacement of the hotel's original lift.

That’s what I thought too! The building dates back to 1961, and we know the 3300 was installed in 2011, so it wouldn’t surprise me if this was, say, a former office building that was turned into a Quest 50 years later, and one *or both* of the elevators are replacements of older ones.

Reminds me of SJEC lifts quite a bit

Yeah; they do bear some resemblance! Probably because they all use Monarch Controls - key characteristics include calls only cancellable when the car is stationary, as well as the Door Close button lighting up the whole time the doors are closing (and likewise for Door Open).

    Just like the SJEC panel
