System Hack List:
Block Disc Updates: Removes the “Wii System Update” screen included with some games that forces you to update the system before playing the game.
Block Online Update: Disables updating your Wii. Updates will fail with error 32007.
Auto-Press A at Health Screen Automatically presses the A Button to get past the initial “Health and Safety” screen.
Replace Health Screen with Backmenu: Changes the “Health and Safety” screen to the animation played when returning to the Wii Menu.
Move Disc Channel: Enables moving the Disc Channel anywhere on the Wii Menu. It’s normally stuck in the top left of the first page.
Wiimmfi Patch v4 : Automatically patches all games you run from the Disc Channel for use with Wiimmfi.
480p graphics fix in system menu: Fixes a small issue with 480p on the Wii Menu.
Remove NoCopy Save File Protection: Allows you to copy normally disallowed save files to your SD card from Data Management
Region Free EVERYTHING: Disables region locking for any Wii application, including downloaded ones.
No System Menu Sounds AT ALL: Disables all the Wii Menu sound effects. Currently broken.
No System Menu Background Music: Disables the Wii Menu background music.
Re-Enable Bannerbomb v2 Enables the “Bannerbomb” exploit on the latest Wii version. Not needed when the Homebrew Channel is already installed.
OSReport to UsbGecko(slot B): Sends Wii Menu logs to a debugging device in memory card slot B.
OSReport to UsbGecko(GeckoOS,B): Sends Wii Menu logs to a debugging device in memory card slot B, if the Wii Menu is launched by Gecko OS.
Force boot into Data Management: Immediately loads the Wii menu into Data Management.
Force Standard Recovery Mode: Automatically launches the console in recovery mode. Used to launch recovery discs, letting users unbrick their Wii systems.
Remove Diagnostic Disc Check: Removes a check in the Wii to see if an inserted game matches the title ID of the “Wii Startup Disc”.
No-Delete HAXX,JODI,DVDX,DISC,DISK,RZDx: Re-enable channels with these title IDs (originally blocked in system updates due to them being exploits).
Force Disc Games to run under IOS249 Make discs use cIOS 249 as the game’s IOS. While it cannot allow playing of burned games on its own, it is needed to play burned discs. (Can give you Error 002 on a non-burned game)
Remove Deflicker: Removes the deflicker filter and makes the Wii Menu appear clearer.
Block Disc Autoboot: This prevents the Wii from instantly launching discs with title IDs starting with 0 or 1 (0x30, 0x31).
Allow TitleID RAAE, 408x, 410x: Allows the Wii Menu to read the discs with the title IDs RAAE (Wii Startup Disc), 408x and 410x (Wii Backup Disc)
Remove IOS16 Disc Error: Allows the Wii Menu to launch discs (this is only the Wii Backup Disc) that use IOS16.
Mark Network Connection as Tested: Enables the Use This Connection button in the Internet connection settings, regardless of the results of the last connection test.
Always enable WiiConnect24 for vWii: Enables WiiConnect24 & Standby Connection every time the Wii menu starts. Requires a reboot after enabling.
Create message via Calendar button (vWii): Clicking on the Calendar button opens the Create Message menu instead of the Calendar, allowing the user to create Memos, send messages to, and register Wii friends.

Quick question: I have a Japanese WiiU and followed your guide. I loaded Wii Sports (NA version) through priiloader with no issue, however, when I load PunchOut (NA Version) it doesn't work. Any idea as to why?
If you have a Custom theme and install Priiloader, it will brick your Wii U.
I think it’s if you already have priiloader, and then install a theme, it will brick your Wii U

When I tried doing the priiloader, for the Wiiconnect24, it said that it should enable on boot instead of vWii, is it bad or is it like the same thing

do you have to go through the "boot priiloader" thing every time you launch the vwii for the hacks to be applied ? or is it a one time thing and you can just select the "wii menu" icon on the wii u menu after that ?
Priiloader is a background task, so as long as you launch the vWii in the aroma cfw it should work

Correcting Tubtendo's comment: if you have priiloader installed and later install a custom theme to your vWii, your vWii is bricked. Uninstall priiloader when installing themes.
Hi FunkyScott I appreciate all the help and support from this channel! I have a question I installed Priiloader on my Vwii, but now some of my usb loader gx Wii games won’t load on the app. I reinstalled patched iOS 80 and the D2x iOS installers to see if it would fix this. Any suggestions? Thank you!

I have a Wii U with Tiramisu and I have a question about it. When I have the Priiloader installed through the homebrew menu of my vWii I only want to enter from that same menu and I do not want to have direct access in the normal console menu. Even with all this, do I have to have Aroma for Priiloader to work or is it just for direct access?
Priiloader requires the aroma environment to work

hey scott! does this make the entire wii u region free, or just the virtual wii? i recently picked up a japanese wii u and this seems to be the easiest method to remove the region lock, but i was left a little confused as to if this applies to both the vwii and the standard wii u! thank you for a response in advance!

There's sigpatches as well, and I'm pretty sure somebody eventually made region patches too.

Does remove deflicker remove it from the games too? Or it sounds like you're saying it's just making the menu clearer? I would love if you made a video showing a game with deflicker on vs off.
I believe they only apply to the system menu, but i could be wrong. the description says the wii menu but doesn't mention the games
@@funkyscott47 okok. Ty. I'm currently running only tiramisu and haven't dived into aroma yet, because I have almost everything installed by injections, and not using usb loader gx. Given that setup, aroma wouldn't be as compatible for me currently, no?
I was only considering it to maybe remove vwii deflicker in games, but i dunno if that's worth the hassle of changing my whole setup.
The Remove deflicker priiloader hack does not apply to games launched through disk channel. If you would like to do this, launch the disk in a loader such as usbloader GX.
DONT DO THIS. priiloader will cause visusal glitches to usb loader gx and there is currently no fix!

I want to instal Priiloader but I also want to customize the Wii U and vWii home menus and I heard they get in the way of each other and cause a brick on atleast the vWii
Remove nocopy savefile protection is a good one too, So you can back up your game saves
Savegame manager GX can do that, but its convenient nonetheless. Plus, in case anyone does it and says "it doesnt work!!!" Im pretty sure the UI doesnt change. Click on the greyed out 'Copy', then you should be good.

It doesn’t really need to be a whole video because it’s literally just changing the private server setting to wiimmfi inside of the loader.
@@playerjmr nah I fixed it cause I have Ethernet and it wouldn’t try to connect to the internet but I’ve fixed it using priiloader

I really appreciate the thoroughness in your videos in the installation of the software, but unfortunately that is where it stops. It would have been nice to test it on USB Loader GX to see some problems with Priiloader going back 10 years. The start and settings buttons on all the games disappear, and there is flickering in one of the game views. Also, the region free game enabled does not work on Doctor Who Pal version, still goes to black screen. The makers of this software should have addressed some of these issues that go back to 2011 on the Wii version. I wish you had done some actual testing with this to see that functionally it does not work and should not be recommended until it is properly tested. Luckily, I uninstalled, and everything went back to the way it was, but it was frustrating not being able to region free games I really wanted to play and other problems. With Pence PC going you are the best source of information for modding WII/Wiiu and 3DS. So please take this criticism Scott for what it is. If you have any suggestions to get these things working as a community, we all would appreciate it.
It was definitely tested, I used one of the beta releases of it. There were alot more major issues, such as a permenant line on the screen.
There are only minor issues on ulgx but they don't remove any functionality of the app anyway.
That does not answer the question of disappearing buttons on all wii games, and the region free games when chosen in Priiloader does not work when you try and load the game. It still goes to black screen and locks the system. What am I doing wrong? Seems to me that some of these problems go back a decade, the disappearing buttons, for example, that have not been addressed in 2023. I am not blaming Scott, but it needs a more thorough progression than just here is how to install it and then choose these options and it will work. The video did not show this in action in USB Loader GX.@@Luna64_
