A variety of Puri is Bedmi Puri, it has a small stuffing of cooked urad dal, maybe you guys call it mash ki dal. The dough is a mixture of both wheat flour and semolina. Puri comes out firm and crisp but not flaky, served with chole and tari Wale alu ki sabzi, North Indian breakfast.🇮🇳
Its called pathooray in Lahore and served with cholay raita piyaz and gajar ka achar
yumm.We call it both maash and safaid urad..

I was about to ask you about " cousin susar" today thank you for explaining it. Great to see you back in Lahore. Halwa puri turned out be below expectations for 200 year shop. Lahore seems to have a culture of breakfast ..is that only in androon or everywhere in Lahore? If people eat such heavy Nashta, do they also eat lunch around 1?

Lahori means foodi they eat pay nihariyan halwa poori lasi nan chanay and much more in breakfast then luch then evening snacks with chay and then bhari bharkam dinner or jab tak sotay nahin hain kuch na kuch chalta he rehta hai no one can beat a lahori and gujranwala walay in food marathon 😂
