      Thank you! I can add that to our list for Derek to film next time we're in LV if it might be a helpful video!

    Any extra tips for someone going in July?

    • @MeansToTravel
      @MeansToTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most likely, the main difference you'll experience going in July vs. when I filmed in January is that you'll likely experience extreme heat, and potentially rain storms if monsoons are active. So be sure to plan your hydration strategy (I cannot emphasize this enough...electrolytes will be your friends!), wear sunscreen/sunglasses, and pack very light weight items. Have fun!

      @@MeansToTravel Thankyou!! So far lots of sunscreen and hydration has been my savior. Bless. 🙏🏻

    Thanks for your tips. I just wanted to point out that if you have been drinking you shouldn't take acetaminophen. It says right on the package, because studies have shown it's linked to higher risk of kidney disease. If you have to take something when you have been drinking it's better to look to other otc analgesics.

      Thanks so much for calling that out, so helpful! Yes definitely read the package's directions before taking all medications!

    Don’t forget to leave your rain umbrella home.

      Yep! Unless you’re planning to go during the summer monsoon (rainy) season...but usually a monsoon shower is fairly short and you can wait it out. 😀
