There’s not a lot of professional exclusion videos on TH-cam, but this one is certainly the most informative one I’ve seen.

Thank you so much. Yes, we do our best …and in the greater Seattle/Puget Sound area there are so many rats that you just have to be thorough!

Erik Hopkins I know, right? But it happens all the time, especially at roof “adjoinments” where the roofer’s concern is rain, not pests.

Evictor Strobe Lights WORK WELL ! Kevin Peterson, a Cascade employee knows that Evictor Strobe Lights are very effective.

Does Kevin Peterson still have success with Evictor Strobe Lights ?

When do you recommend changing out the installation from attic? I mean if the rodents are making their way up?

This can be a tough call. It’s obviously when there is either a significant amount of compressed insulation, thus diminishing its value....or when the rodent droppings (and not so evident urine) amounts to a widespread contamination. It’s good to have the owner in on the issue ...if they do not replace damaged or filthy insulation it’s best to warn them that down the road when they go to sell the home the situation will likely be found by the home inspection. What complicates things is that some home inspectors (for home sales) will not tolerate any droppings at all and expect there to be an expensive removal and replacement of insulation...which has to be negotiated between home seller and the purchaser.

Don't seal the bats in , customer could get bit. All holes should get a rat proof exclusion . Not sure about that exclusion due to never dealt with roof rats.

Tom Noname Only infestation was rats and there were no bats. Good point though when bats are present.
